I stopped by Maglio’s Pizza around 7:30pm, not realizing they closed at 8. I ordered a cheese pizza, a slice of sausage, and a grandma slice. After I paid, they let me know they didn’t have any grandma slices left—but instead of turning me away or offering a substitute, they went above and beyond: they made a whole new pizza just to get me that one slice.

The staff was incredibly friendly, the manager was welcoming, and the service was top-notch. You could tell they genuinely cared about the customer experience, even so close to closing time.

And the pizza? Absolutely delicious. That level of service and hospitality is what sets great restaurants apart. I’ll definitely be back!

I’ve only been here a handful of times and they never disappoint. I get the pepperoni pinwheels every time and they always taste great. The staff is kind and quick too. Definitely one of the best independent pizza places!

We used to love this place when we lived in Woodlake. I have since found out I have a gluten allergy and was excited to see they offered a cauliflower crust option because we loved Maglio’s so much. My pizza came out 30min after my family’s (after my wife went to ask what was going on), crust was burnt, and the associate responsible for getting the pizzas out of the oven openly complained about having to get mine out because she had “burnt my hand so many times tonight”. She then said to the girl who took our order “you can’t serve that by the slice..it has to be a whole pizza” to which the girl taking our order said “I know, they ordered a whole pizza”..

Such a shame this establishment isn’t what it once was. The young lady who took our order was super sweet.

First visit to the popular local pizza restaurant. We weren’t disappointed. The service was quick and friendly while the menu was tasty. We enjoyed pizza and subs with fries. Location is convenient and there is a beer joint that is co-located that offers a lot on tap. My only gripe is that it was cold in there. You can’t take off your coat and your feet will get cold so I recommend carryout only during winter.

This place is fabulous. The wife and I bring our littlest ones here often. 5, 3, and 1. They love the food and the atmosphere, because the owners and their staff are VERY friendly and accommodating. Kids can be loud, but this place oftentimes has a lot of them in there, simply because it’s a family-friendly spot with the best pizza in town, and an excellent selection of on-tap beer and wine. Order anything and you can’t go wrong. And while the kids are being kids (watching football and eating amazing pizza), the adults can have a great time, too. Just a wonderful place to be, and with the best staff around, from top to bottom, you’ve got to try Maglio’s. And P.S., kids are not always there being kids. 80 percent of the time you’ll enjoy a nice, quiet, peaceful experience.

This staff is very friendly and helpful. The pizzas are great as are the Philly cheesesteak subs!! The sub roll was especially good! And I love that you can pour your own beer and wine — pretty cool

We decided to have some pizza on Halloween evening and found this place nearby for the first time. Online it clearly stated they closed at 10 PM, so we arrived at 8:45 PM—plenty of time, or so we thought.

There were two tables seated when we walked in. I even asked the waitress if we had enough time to sit down and eat, and she said, “Of course.” She was pleasant at first and took our order.

Shortly after, my husband’s slices arrived. Then the waitress came back to say they didn’t have any veggie pizza, so I changed my order to a sub. A few minutes later, I learned they didn’t even have plain cheese pizza for my son, so we switched to pepperoni instead.

Once all the food finally came, we started eating — only to be interrupted halfway through our meal by another waitress telling us they were closing immediately. She claimed it was “against the law” to keep the UNDERAGE staff in the restaurant while customers were still inside and that we had to leave because they were closing at 9 PM for Halloween.

Had anyone told us this when we arrived, we would have gladly gone somewhere else. Instead, we were reassured that we had time to dine, only to be rushed out mid-bite. Being told to leave while chewing your food is unbelievably rude and completely unprofessional.

This experience ruined our evening and left a terrible impression. We just moved into the neighborhood and were hoping to find a new favorite spot — unfortunately, this was our first and last visit. Terrible communication, poor service, and zero respect for customers.

Was in the area and really wanted parmesan grinder. I’ve driven by this place numerous times and thought I would go in and give it a try. First I was very surprised at the size of the place, from the outside it looks like it’s just a tiny little joint but it’s actually pretty large inside and they have a number of draft Taps on the walls as well. It looks like it’s similar to other tap houses I’ve seen where you can buy by the ounce. They have a number of pizzas on this play where you can pick and get a slice I looked over the menu made my order at the counter with a young lady who is very pleasant and I ended up getting a Parmesan sausage “hero” as they called it, extra toasted. Didn’t take very long for the order to be made. They did a great job extra toast in that, for some reason why the places can’t get that right but they did. The sausage was pretty tasty and had a little bit of a kick to it maybe a spicy Italian sausage a little bit of tomato sauce with some good mozzarella cheese melted on the top. Overall it was pretty good. I would definitely come back and try some of their other items it seems like it’s a good mom-and-pop type Italian joint.

Danielle was Fantastic and truly loves assisting customers. The lasagna was delicious and the beers were good. I only wish there were more beer choices, such as stouts and porters, to choose from. Overall, it was a great visit, primarily due to Danielle. v/r, Dr. Ken King
