Service was outstanding which is a vast improvement from the last operation here. Our waitress was genuinely friendly, attentive, and quick. She even offered and supplied a bowl of ice water for our dog.
For outdoor dining on the lake, this place has an awesome spot with an outdoor bar, tables, sofas, bags, horseshoes, visitor docks, and a great view of the sunset.
First time here in awhile so we ordered just nachos and a pizza. The nachos were good, the pizza could use some work (crust and toppings). Definitely want to give burgers and fish a try here and will update.
Drinks were great.

We where frozen from a day of fishing in the rain. Very friendly and welcoming local watering hole. Amber was great, food was awesome and whipped out quick. If you are looking for a 5star steak house and dress codes this ain’t the place. If you want cozy and easy food and good drinks, this is it. Thanks!

The service is exceptional here and I highly recommend the food! The staff are very personable and friendly. They have a beautiful outdoor area overlooking the water. It’s also dog friendly! We love coming here.

I like to make a trip up to the Lake Wisconsin/River area once or twice a summer. I used to go to the Thirsty Moose, but have been disappointed. Decided to give the Lakeside a try again. I was with my elderly mom and her friend and they both have canes. The staff was super sweet and helpful with getting them safely to their table. Our waitress also asked for extra help from one of the other staff and she went to the salad bar (my says – “excellent old fashioned salad bar! ) for my mom and her friend. As you can imagine it’s hard to negotiate a salad bar when you walk with a cane.
We all had the fish fry and it was excellent! My mom and I were allowed to have half baked and half fried. which was really a treat. We also had cheese curds as a appetizer (indulgent) and they were fantastic.
You can’t beat the view and eating outside on the patio is just like being at a friends house.
The staff was courteous and kind and I was super impressed! We will definitely return. Thank you!

The scenery and the service was definitely worth going back in itself. I really wouldn’t mind trying some of the dinner options. It should also be noted that the lakeside bar and grill is also overly welcoming to dogs!

We had a great dining experience at Lakeside. Nancy was a very good waitress, the old fashions were well to my liking & the fish fry was everything I hoped for. My gf had the fish tacos & she said they were very good. The view of the river was beautiful too. We’ll definitely be back!!
