This Indonesian food truck definitely must try.
I wish I live nearby, for sure I’ll be the retuning customer every week.
I wanted to try or order lots of stuff from their menu but due to we’re on road trip and the destination was visiting and spend time one night with a friend that live literally 5 mins from this food truck. So I only got 3 items.
chicken satay and bakmi chicken.
For to go I ordered Nasi Padang (I was lucky at the time was Saturday so I can try it).
NasiPadang is the most popular platter in Indonesia, if you don’t like or can’t handle curry that contains coconut milk probably you want to stay away from this dish.
My husband love love love their chicken satay, even though he never had lontong (rice cake) before but he ate the whole container.
He said the peanuts sauce was really good.
So I had bakmi chicken, I really like it, there was lots of chicken in it. Great portions
Then the Nasi Padang I had it for dinner and I shared it with our friends that we were visiting.
They never had Indonesian food and they didn’t know that the food truck is 5 mins from their house until we told them.
They love everything that’s in Nasi Padang. They love spicy and I’m not joking they cleaned the plate completely with that my understanding is they really like the flavor of the food.
I’m glad I can share my experience to someone else.
Last thing, the couple that own this food truck is super humble amazing friendly people.
Definitely I can see that they put their hearts into the food that they make.
The seating situation is a bit trouble. But you can always order to go. They packed your food carefully and nicely.
I highly recommend to stop by and try the foods. You won’t regret it!

Finding an Indonesian food truck on Florida’s quiet western shore felt like discovering a hidden gem. We ordered mie ayam baso with warm broth and springy noodles, lontong sayur rich in coconut milk, and nasi kuning lengkap with golden rice, beef rendang, and sambal. The sate ayam was smoky and sweet.
For dessert, martabak manis was thick, chewy, and filled with chocolate and peanuts—sweet and satisfying.
The food was rich, nostalgic, and full of character. It felt like a taste of home in an unexpected place, where every dish told a story and every bite made the breeze feel cooler (it was at the end of summer here).

Indo Hibachi food truck serves the best authentic Indonesian food I’ve had in the USA. The food is always fresh, hot, and served with a smile by Linda and Deqi. If you enjoy the typical Chinese/Thai food in the US, you’ll love their Indonesian dishes. Don’t know what to order? Just ask for recommendations – they’re happy to help! We make Indo Hibachi a regular part of our weekly meals.

Experienced the food in The city known as Bradenton. Food is ordered in a parking lot which is tucked away between a gas station and dollar general store. The food truck has a walk up window and a covered canopy is connected with seating and tables. The lady and gentleman were genuine Indonesian people. Very friendly and polite upon us ordering or food. Food took about 15 minute’s to be prepared and the price was reasonable for two people. We could have experienced a better tasting Beef Rendang meal in such a long time. It was was so tasty and tantalizing to the taste buds. Along with the meal we ordered a side of chicken satay. It was delicious as well. Being a food critic, it was the best tasting we’ve experienced in years. There are only two Indonesian Food trucks in Tampa and or restaurants. Linda will take care of you for your dining experience. Thank you for the delicious prepared meal. A must go if you’re looking for authentic Indonesian Food.

There’s only a tiny handful of Indonesian Cuisines between Tampa and Sarasota and this one was an absolute pleasant surprise to discover! They are well known for their fresh Hibachi platter. I stopped here to find their authentic indonesian menu items – and that (no joke) brings my taste buds back home.

Satay Chicken – very tender, succulent and aromatic. This one is a must try and the highlight of my day. One bite and I can tell the chicken is well marinaded.

Nasi Padang – aromatic and deep flavors packed in a platter with rice, beef, and veggies. On a cool day like today this kept my tummy warm on my drive home. (Only available on weekends)

Bakmi Chicken – this noodle dish is umami and flavorful. This dish comes with a warm soup that compliments it well.

I look forward to visiting this spot again .

[P.S. sorry folks no photos uploaded – we were hungry and food was very satisfying, but will post next time ]

Asian food in food truck? Why not? — their food is AMAZING. As Indonesian myself, all their menu is a comfort food for me. Go try their chicken satay, nasi kuning or nasi padang, and bakmi chicken. SO GOOD. Their sambal (spicy sauce) is the best. If they have fried tofu on the menu, go get it!! Nice people nice service very affordable! Support local

Thank you to whoever posted about this place on Facebook, awesome find. The takoyaki was decent. The Bakmi chicken quite good in a very American friendly, teriyaki adjacent way. But the Nasi Pedang…..oh my lord yes!! Rich beefy rendang. Spicy green jackfruit, tofu and egg curry. Crispy micro anchovies with peanuts(I don’t generally like seafood but even this was good). And blazing, obviously home made Sambal dipping sauce. I think I’m gonna have to eat this at least a few more times before I can convince myself to try the rest of the menu.

Definitely will come back! The Indonesian food is really really good. I love the chicken noodle and the chicken satay. The beef rendang is authentic and tasty. But not too spicy. They also serve hibachi. Next time I’ll go there to taste the hibachi. The portion is big too!
