I usually order from this place on a food delivery app, but today I decided to walk in myself for the first time and I was NOT disappointed. My server Jesus was super nice and got my order ready quickly. He even gave me a free cookie after he noticed me eyeing it. HIGHLY recommend for anyone who likes healthy food and good vibes.

I came to the Waukegan location for something easy and quick since I was around the area and I haven’t had tropical smoothie in a long time, as soon as I came in a was greeted by angel who was in the front I was indecisive of what I was looking for or what I wanted so I proceeded to ask him for help to recommend me the Something food wise and a drink And he did not hesitate to help me. Thank you for taking the time to help me Angel, he did recommended me some good options. Not a lot of people have patience for customers so thank you Angel. I will be coming back to his location. I felt to welcomed.

I had a really disappointing experience at the Tropical Smoothie Cafe on S. Waukegan. When I walked in, it took a while for the employee at the register to take my order. After finally taking it, she turned her back to me and started using her phone without giving me my receipt or letting anyone else know that my order needed to be made.
I ended up grabbing my own receipt from the counter because no one handed it to me. Another employee looked at the ticket and asked, “Am I supposed to make that?” The first employee casually said, “Oh yeah, go ahead and make that,” and still didn’t acknowledge me or say anything else.
When I finally got my smoothie, it was watery and poorly made — definitely not worth the $14 I paid. No one said thank you or goodbye either.
Overall, the service felt dismissive and unprofessional. It seemed like the employee with the long braids had more important things to do on her phone than help the only customer in the store. I won’t be returning to this location.

Had a great experience at Tropical Smoothie! The Peanut Paradise smoothie was absolutely delicious, and the pesto chicken wrap was fresh and flavorful. Everything came out quickly, and the cashier, Kyira, was super friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even better. Definitely coming back!

Went by on July 31st, Thursday at around 11:10am with a friend and was attended by Renaya I can’t quite remember her name all I know is that it starts with a R. But moral of the story she was super sweet and a vibe! She made our açaí bowls with love!! 100000/10 will definitely comeback!!! Someone give that girl a raise!
