Went to Monroe for first time last night. Sorry to say I was very disappointed in the food. The meats tasted like green wood was used to cook them. Both the pork & beef had a bitter smoke taste and no real rub taste. Definitely not seasoned wood. The beef was also tough & stringy. The fried potato salad barely had any sauce in it. The sauces on the table were very watered down and tasted like they had been on tables for a very long time. The service was great, can’t complain there. However, not going back, I won’t pass Kelly’s again to go here.

BbQ IS VERY DRY.I SHOOK THE BBQ SAUCE BOTTLE AND SHHOOK IT UP AND IT BLEW UP ON ME LIKE A VALCANO.HE PUT BAKING SODA IN IT TO MAKE IT LAST LONGER! THE SRV WAS LIKE BEING AT A TEEN PARTY. THE STEW WAS WATERED DOWN. TERRIBLE.TWO THUMBS DOWN
