I love these burritos. Tortilla is perfecto texture; flavor on spot.
But this morning, I got my usual eggs with chorizo and it had diced raw onion, a lot. They should have cooked it or sprinkled a but instead, it was like biting an onion.
Go easy on the onion.
Overall my asada quesadilla was disappointingly over toasted, dry and crumbly. The flour tortilla was very thin, dry and crumbly. There was very little cheese in the quesadilla. The asada was minimal too. It was also not flavorful and dry. Sad. I didn’t like it at all. I hate to say it but I can’t think of a single nice thing to say.
Oh, but there was a wait? Yes! A wait! Not a quick wait either.
The lady that took our order was nice.
They have no area to sit. It’s just a store front.
Meter parking. I’m not sure if the surrounding neighborhood has free parking or not.
We had the best breakfast burrito. It is called Papa Steak and we also had the best chicken quesadilla. Their chips are great and we had rice on the side. We got it all to go and ate in the car and listened to music. We had a great time.
This is a real gem that we had not heard of before and boy it does not disappoint. Beware the salsa, it is great, but what we had was way too hot for me.
Their hours are odd, so call to make sure they are open. They run out of food.
You will love this place. We do.
The first time two burritos and a Jamaica drink came out to $16.00, not bad. The second time, two burritos, Jamaica drink, and one taco came out to $20.00. The taco is a big rip off it is bit size, stick to burritos
I’ll be back in try out the breakfast bacon burrito. Also only $5 for the burrito.
I have eaten at many, many authentic Mexican restaurants, taco trucks, taco stands…
SORRY, but Tacos Villa Corona answers my idea of Mexican food… IF I went to Alaska to try Mexican food made by Betty Crocker…
We got the chorizo and potato breakfast burrito, a chicken taco, and asada nachos. They gave us red salsas which had a good smokiness. The breakfast burrito was especially filling and they put a generous amount of cheese on all three items.
