Come in at lunchtime…food not ready…they have went up on the price of food….how dare I come in and expect the food to be ready by lunchtime….time is money…they really need to get their act together…get better management at 11:15 lunchtime food isn’t ready why???? Went for lunch, special for jerk, chicken, rice and peas and salad. The salad was brown I asked for brown stew gravy on the rice and chicken. Chicken was dry. The rice had a teaspoon of gravy never again.

Anytime I’m in Fort Lauderdale, I make it a point to stop at Donna’s, and get some oxtail. I always brag about their portions and delicious flavorful food. Not so much this time. I’m not sure if the person behind the counter was having a bad day or what, but she was very rude and unprofessional. As she was preparing my food, I noticed the portion was very small. To make sure she got my order correct, I reminded her I ordered a large oxtail not a medium. She then opens the box, and turns to her coworker and says “ this is a large right”. Please be the judge. Never going back to the location on Broward!!!

Would have been 5 stars if I did not have an employee from the restaurant asking me for money like we are in a relationship of sorts.
Went into this restaurant after a long while and got reminded of why I should stay away I placed an order for two meals, and even with two(2) types of vegetables nearby and visible, all she said was ” no vegetables, tek extra rice,”
The way she scooped that food and stopped it in made me question myself, not one to argue over things like this I quietly paid while rebuking myself for going there, for the owners of Donna’s and all these othere service facilities, do you really know that there are lots of options for whatever you’re selling, the writing is ( and has been) on the wall for all you going through the motion types, you need to treat customers as customers, why would I need to have an argument to have my food looking like I paid for it and not like it was smuggled out to me, please please do better.

I usually enjoy food from here but was very disappointed today hair in the food I also ordered a cup of read peas soup hair on it as well. Ladies cover up your wigs properly. The curry was no good either don’t know if a new chef is there but won’t be going back for now.

It was a great atmosphere the displaying of the food items was appetizing, making it hard to make your mind up. Eventually, we order jerk chicken and rice and peas with oxtail gravey. we come to realize that it is the authentic Jamaican dish,the service was top class, the ladies were good at what they do overall it is a big A for us thank you Donna.
