Lovely friendly people, serving 7/10 standard food. The restaurant was extremely busy, with large numbers of diners ordering, alongside a constant flow of takeaway orders. This resulted in all tables have long wait times.
The poppadoms were fresh and crispy, the Nan breads fresh and warm, mushroom rice was decent, but the sauces not flavourful, and the lamb tikka sizzler had small thin slices of lamb, with large quantities of peepers and onions.

We recently stayed in Nerja January 2025 and spotted this little curry house a couple of hundred yards up the road from the hotel Riu Monica and decided to stop for lunch and were not disappointed. The restaurant was very clean and comfortable and the staff were exceptionally polite and friendly. We ordered a chicken shashlik with Balti sauce, chicken korma accompanied with pilau rice, onion bhajis and a keema and garlic naan. Everything was served piping hot and tasted delicious apart from the Balti sauce which was too thin and sweet. Including a beer, soft drink and 2 glasses of very tasty house red wine the bill came to just under €54.

We have just had a take-a-way meal from here . . And in all honesty it was one of the most disappointing meals I’ve ever had. All three of us said he same . . It was bland and the naam bread was under cooked and didn’t have any coconut in it. There is so much to say how bad this meal was it’s beyond a joke . . My advice if you want to have an enjoyable meal DON’T GO TO THE CURRY HOUSE IN NERJA

This is my favorite restaurant! Not only do they have the best Indian food, but the the best food in general. The service is beyond outstanding! If I could give them 10 stars I would. They have the best chicken Korma, and chicken Malaya I have ever tasted. Also the peshwari Nan is my ultimate favorite.
The food is always hot, fresh, and consistently delicious. You could not ask for a better place to eat.

What a lovely time we had here! Service was exemplary as was the food. My husband likes his curry hot and the chicken phal did not disappoint. I prefer my curry mild and fragrant and both the paneer aloo and prawn dopiazza were perfectly balanced especially when accompanied by the light garlic naan. As a side, the onion bajhis were crispy and flavourful. We ordered far too much and taking it away was not a problem and done with a smile. Thoroughly recommend and can’t wait to return- not to mention enjoy our takeout!
