Little Water Cantina Review
We visited Little Water Cantina to meet up with family for a nice Mexican meal. The ordering process felt a bit awkward, as we were asked to place our orders through our phones rather than with a server—it felt like they were still operating under COVID-era protocols. We had a few questions while ordering, so the host ended up coming over and taking our order directly, which was helpful.

The food itself was average overall, though it did have an authentic taste, which we appreciated. What really stood out, though, was the atmosphere. The restaurant is beautifully located along the water’s edge, and the setting was clean and relaxing. Unfortunately, parking was a bit of a hassle due to ongoing construction in the area, which has been an issue for a while.

All in all, it’s a great spot if you’re looking for ambiance and waterfront views—just be prepared for a quirky ordering system and limited parking.

So, I’m gonna be completely honest. The food was good, but it was so not worth the money. It tasted great, but this was not a $100 meal BEFORE TIP. So let’s start with the Margarita, if I pay $16 for a margarita I expect a HUGE GLASS and this tiny thing was all I got…
As for the queso, it was pretty tasty, but they were cheap on the chips. I expect enough for the queso and there just weren’t enough.
For the chimichanga, that was only thing full worth the money. The chicken was delicious and flavorful. That mole was fantastic and that comes from a Mexican girl who grew up eating it from my grandma.
Parking is shitty, they only have about a dozen spots in the park garage below and there’s no street parking.
The view is nice, but it is very disconnected from the lake. Just go somewhere further down the hill to enjoy the water.
The weirdest part was expecting at least an 18% tip on the bill and all they did was bring us our food. We sat ourselves, we ordered ourselves (no recommendations from staff), and there was no check-ins from staff. I’ve had better service at a fast food restaurant.
Anyway, I definitely won’t be back and don’t recommend.

This was a nice place for dinner watching the sunset. Didn’t quite agree with the high tip, considering we order our meals through phone. We seated ourselves, ordered our food with no assistance. The only time I really saw the waiter was when he gave us our food and boxes for our leftovers. There really wasn’t much “service”. I will say the food was very good and I feel the price was reasonable for the amount of food. When we did speak with the “waiter” he was friendly. Overall I would go back simply because the food was delicious along with the outdoor seating by the water.

Cute cantina with amazing view. Cozy outdoor patio that’s great on a sunny day. Food was good but pricey. $1.50 for avocado but only came with 1 slice? Ordering via phone with large party WAY too complicated ‍ .

I rolled into Little Water Cantina on Eastlake expecting good views, but got great everything. The Wild Boar Burrito was crispy, smoky magic, and the Shrimp Tacos brought just the right coconut-chipotle punch. Chips and guac? Bright, fresh, inhaled – the only chips I’ll pay for but worth the $16?! That hibiscus-lime agua fresca? Summer in a glass. But the real kicker—every single person working there was genuinely warm and on it. Food came fast, smiles came faster. Even with QR ordering, the vibe felt personal and easy. Eastlake’s got plenty of spots, but this one actually makes you want to stay awhile.

Great Mexican spot with a beautiful waterfront view. You can see boats passing by and even planes flying overhead, which makes the experience really enjoyable. The food was delicious and the service was friendly and attentive. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, and the patio has heaters, making it comfortable even in colder weather.

First time visit. We stumbled onto the Little Water Cantina as we were trying to leave Seattle, after a trip. Just got turned around a bit. Happened in at Lunch time. Almost the first customers. Menu via QR code. Table service by host. Ordering was done via our server. Sat on the covered patio, which has mostly picnic bench style seating. Service was very good. We ordered a beef barbacoa burrito and two grilled fish tacos with rice and beans, along with chips, salsa and guacamole. We didn’t have to wait long for the food to arrive. The burrito was wrapped in foil and served with a lemon wedge and a bit of salsa. The tacos, rice and beans were plated well and of decent portion size. A couple things didn’t quite meet our expectations. The rice and beans were barely warm and the rice was not very flavorful. Also, the chips and salsa are not complimentary. I can say I enjoyed the burrito very much. This lunch for two was $60 before tip. In spite of the shortcomings, the atmosphere (patio overlooking Lake Union and several marinas) and the restaurant’s decor are favorable. And, the tacos, burrito, chips, salsa and guacamole were very good, in my opinion.

This place has one of the prettiest views I’ve ever seen at a restaurant in Seattle for the price — perfect for a relaxing meal. The chips were super fresh and crispy, and the carne asada burrito was so good, even as leftovers.

Service was amazing too — everyone was friendly and on it. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to!

Staff is great, food is B, B+, atmosphere is great, especially in the summer. The owners were pushing the QR code ordering system—even at the bar top. Please stop. It makes more sense at tables, but the bar top becomes a horrible experience when you have to order on an app, despite the bartender being three feet from you. The QR code ordering sucks a lot.
