RUN, DON’T WOK. Really really good food here. And the prices are unbelievably reasonable. My Sunday lunch featured shrimp with vegetables — with plenty of shrimp — excellent chicken fried rice, a tasty egg roll and soup — all for $7.99. Perfect for takeout or delivery, though they do have a few dine-in tables as well. Still, not a place for a first date, impressing a new client or delivering a marriage proposal. Think styrofoam and plastic forks. But did I mention $7.99? The woman at the counter seemed to know a little more Spanish than English, but got both our order and bill correct. Recommend giving it a try!

This is the worst restaurant I’ve ever been to. I will never go there again. The Mexican food section looked nasty. It didn’t even look like Mexican food. The little pork ribs were over cooked and dry like wood chips. The shrimp was overcooked and dry. The green beans were greasy. The won ton soup was so bland it didn’t even taste like won ton. The general tsao’s chicken was nasty and didn’t even taste like General Tsao’s chicken. The fried rice didn’t look right either. The orange shrimp was nasty and bland. The egg rolls were nasty too. I made a salad and the dressings and sauces weren’t labeled and what I thought was salad dressing was not. I’m not sure what it was but it was definitely nasty. I had some chocolate pudding and some banana pudding and that was the only thing good. I got a couple of churros and they were too crunchy so I made an ice cream cone and the ice cream didn’t look like ice cream. My husband and I paid 40$ for the buffet and it was a waste and definitely over priced. The place looked clean but the food is the worst and service I didn’t see any service really. You pay first and there’s a sign that says no refunds and I understand why now because if I would have seen it when we first went in I would have left. I will never go there again and I don’t recommend going there it’s definitely not where it’s at unless you like overcooked or really bland or greasy or unidentifiable foo

This was my first time at this restaurant. The good was awesome! I ordered vegetable fried rice and shrimp low mein. If you haven’t eaten here, I highly recommend you try it! You will not be disappointed.

Not sure how to rate. I wanted to order something different from a different Chinese restaurant so I order the chicken chow mein. I’m not sure if what I ordered is chow mein. I know it’s not lo mein but I thought it for sure would be a thin fried crispy noodle, however I didn’t see any crispy noodles, just chicken, onions and bean spourts in a clear sauce. Honestly I think they forgot the crispy noodles. It taste ok not great but I’m not sure this is what I ordered. The place was clean and empty. It came with wonton soup rice and egg roll so a lot for less than $9. Not sure I will be back. Please comment if this is chow mein and I will edit this review.

In response to the reply from China One. I know what I order. I order chow mein. I know the what lo mein is and I know what chow mei fun is as well. This was slimy, nasty and there was no crispy noodle. The rice was not good either.

This is more of a food pickup for home than to eat in a restaurant. The food is delicious and the orange chicken and dishes we ordered do not disappoint. We are from San Diego, where every type of ethnic food is found and their food rates as high as over there. Glad to find a my replacement restaurant in Blue Springs 🙂

China One used to be really good years ago in BS. Today I had the worst mushy shrimp fried rice. It was awful. Try Lin’s Kitchen in Grain Valley don’t waste your money at China One.

I used to love this place. But about a year ago their service went way down. They lie all the time on take out orders about pick up time. Holidays? Forget it. I won’t be going back here again.

Use to eat here regularly because everything was great, lately the food just ok and today terrible. Ordered Generals chicken and the chicken is soo dry some we can’t even bite. Not sure if this was just some old refried chicken pieces or a new supplier. I gave them 2 stars because of friendly fast service.

Good food. Everything was cooked fresh so took a little longer. The place is take out oriented but they do have a few tables for dining in. They appear to only use disposable plates and silverware. I do recommend this restaurant but calling in your order is recommended. If you want it spicy just ask.
