Chicken Beef
Start off by saying the Chicken Philly that I had there was very delicious. I like the fact that they allow me to customize it to my liking. The staff was extremely helpful in terms of suggestions. One of staff members was extremely pleasant with the customers. This is not a dine-in establishment. It’s more like a New York style Bodega as it sells grocery aswell. It’s fairly clean overall. However last time it it could’ve been cleaner. Maybe it was just cause I came while it was extremely busy. I will update next time I go back on cleanliness.
Overall all things considered I’ll give them 5 stars for a grab an go spot. This 5 star rating is only based relative. To this genre of restaurant’s not true intimate fine dining establishments.

I’m always on the hunt for a legitimate Philly Cheesesteak sandwich here in the Midwest.
I’ve tried many, and traveled far to do so.
I found NY Gourmet Deli on a Google search and gave it a try.
They had a good menu of sandwiches. I decided to stick with the sandwich I am always chasing.
I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak combo. It was reasonably priced and came prepared right.
I’ll give this sandwich an 10 out of 10. Everything was spot on. Now it’s time to try the other sandwiches on the menu..

Always greeted with a smile and that metal spatula going to war on the grill. The Chopped Cheese here isn’t a sandwich, it’s a full personality reset. One bite and suddenly I’m reevaluating my life choices and calling people back I swore I’d never talk to again. Service is fast, food is fire, and the atmosphere feels like the deli equivalent of a warm hug from someone who smells like onions in a good way. New York Gourmet Deli absolutely nails it. Their chopped cheese is insane — perfectly seasoned, loaded with flavor, and cooked exactly how it should be. You can tell they don’t rush it or cheap out.

Loved it. Got the Italia and it was very close to the ones I get in NYC and NJ. The guys running the shop were super nice and polite. There is a pretty large selection of sandwiches on the menu. Hot or cold. Tons of drinks to choose from. Basically just like any Deli you would find in NY. Loved it.

So me my brother, his girlfriend, my nephew, and his girlfriend just went today. We all got different sandwiches and split them between us all just so we could try a little bit of everything. Now we have a big problem because we can’t pick which sandwich we liked the best LBVS. Every sandwich was a hit. Absolutely 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ food and service. Very nice people and let me say they definitely know how to throw down in the kitchen. Would highly recommend everybody to try it out.

This is one of the best bodega spots in the city if not the best already. The quality was great and the staff were very friendly. I ordered the chopped cheese and the pastrami. The sandwiches were hot and the ingredients tasted fresh. The fries were seasoned well and piping hot I don’t have any pics of the sandwiches because I ate them both in the car. Don’t judge me.

My husband heard about NY Gourmet Deli on a Facebook Reel food review. We went on Super Bowl Sunday…as both of us are NOT sports enthusiasts. I got the Philly and he got the Italian. EXCEEDED expectations. 100% will be back! I was especially excited about the variety sodas from Mexico! Too bad they don’t have tables, but I understand why.

Solid chopped cheese, seasoned well, good bread, chopped small meat, great value, potato wedges are really good -cooked all the way through and flavorful. Large selection of beverages and small snacks. When you have a craving for chopped cheese this is the spot to get it.
