During my stay at the Delta Hotel in Thunder Bay, I had an exceptional experience at the hotel bar due to Marissa’s outstanding service. She was professional, courteous, and highly knowledgeable about the local area.
Upon learning that I enjoy outdoor exploration, Marissa recommended visiting Kakabeka Falls, which she identified as one of Thunder Bay’s premier natural attractions. Her recommendation proved to be an excellent decision and became a highlight of my visit.
As a frequent traveler who spends over 170 nights annually at Marriott properties, I place great value on team members who consistently deliver elevated and personalized guest service. Marissa’s ability to thoughtfully tailor her recommendations and share her local expertise significantly enhanced my overall stay.

Loved this restaurant. Spectacular view!!! Make sure to go during sunset and have a seat with the harbour view!
Service was great. Food was delicious and the price given the quality and the portion was reasonable. The only thing I didn’t like so much was their soup of the day (creamy chicken with corn soup). I ordered fish tacos and they were so tasty!

5-stars without hesitation ! From a welcoming greeting on arrival to the nice atmosphere and staff .The menu has a great variety of vegetarian and non vegetarian options ,even halal! ensuring there’s something for everyone. Dish presentation is beautiful. I specially like that the seating is spacious.They had lots of customers,still we were well served and given a comfortable place to enjoy our dinner. Highly recommend.

What a great experience! Went to Anchor and Ore with some friends for fondue and loved it!!!!
Our server Robin was amazing she has a great personality and answeres to all our questions when asked for suggestions.
She asked what kind of things we may have wanted to see with the fondue and even surprised us with one of those items to try it. So very attentive to the tables they had we never had to look around for help. 10/10 would recommend.

If you want breakfast with a view in Thunder Bay, this is the place. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff (Anitha was wonderful).
I had the 3 egg omelet (loaded) with goat cheese and my wife had the avacado toast with poached eggs. Both were very good with generous portions. The turn around was very fast.
Attached to the Delta, parking was very good. I look forward to our next visit.

A small group of us were stuck in Thunder Bay for a few days due to flight cancellations. We are grateful that we were at the Delta. Warm and friendly service. Allwin was our breakfast server and was always kind, considerate and caring about our meal needs.

A wonderful restaurant with beautiful views of the Thunder Bay marina.
The only thing that could top the atmosphere, was the friendly and wonderful service we received from Robin! Genuine personality with a smile to match, she made the perfect recommendations for our meal! The pairing suggestions with the beer were also on point!

My husband and I went to anchor and ore for a night cap on valentines day, at approximately 9:45pm. We made sure to check their hours so we weren’t going in too late, as we knew we wanted a small app to go with a drink. Open until 11pm…
We walk in and immediately have to ask bar staff if we are to seat ourselves, as no one came to seat or greet us. Another lady shortly came out from the back room saying we’re only allowed to sit bar or high top since they are now preparing for breakfast. Okay?
As we’re sitting high tops, the restaurant staff start absolutely RE-ARRANGING THE DINING SPACE!
Moving couches around, tables!?!? My husband and I couldn’t even hear each other’s conversation?!
Saying I was angry was an understatement.
It was 10:22pm at this point, and the restaurant closes at 11. There are still a pleather of guests dining-not JUST my husband and I? It was so ignorant? I just don’t understand why they thought that that would be okay to absolutely re-arrange the entire dining hall BEFORE THEY ARE CLOSED.
Then charge us 65$ for 1 drink each and a chip dip
Not cool.
Needless to say, don’t go to anchor and ore passed 10pm. Lol..

We had such a great experience at Anchor & Ore! Our server, Jullianna, was amazing – we had lots of questions about the menu, and she took the time to answer everything thoroughly. Our table also had a couple of allergies, and she was incredibly accommodating and helpful, making sure everything was safe and exactly how we needed it. Her friendly attitude and attention to detail really stood out. Thank you, Jullianna, for making our meal so enjoyable! On top of all of that, the food was amazing.
