We were pleasantly surprised to find this place on our way back from the coast from Google search. Tugged in a little strip mall which is quite appropriate for sushi joint like this, plenty of parking outside and spaces inside. The place is clean and well managed overall, wait staffs are pleasant the small town folk friendly feel. Food portion is definitely larger then most similar type of sushi places in big cities. We eat raw fish so freshness is very important to us, this place passed the quality standard for us, we ordered what we normally choose in other sushi places, and ended up taking quite a few home being so full with the big portions lol. Will definitely visit again if we pass by next time

We came the day after Christmas for their lunch special which includes miso soup, cucumber salad, and a drink with two sushi rolls you pick from their list. We also ordered some potsticker which were decent. I would have them to be a bit more crispy on the bottom.
We got there right at opening and it got busy fast. There was one girl working as the server and she did a great job taking care of each of the tables.
The atmosphere is OK, it definitely has a good for work lunch vibe. It is casual.

Service was fast, friendly, and good but not rushed. The lunch specials were a good value, and the sushi was delicious as always. The poke bowl was huge, as was the green tea ice cream serving.

All of the staff are kind and attentive, but special shout out to Gracie! She remembers your orders, checks in often, and gives amazing service. The restaurant is clean, and is our personal favorite sushi. We suggest it to all of our friends!

Ordered Eel roll, Miso soup, cucumber salad, California roll and calamari. The rolls were prepared well and decorated, fresh, maybe slightly salty on the topping sauce for the eel rolls. Miso soup and cucumber salad were cheap side appetizers and sizes of containers reflected the price. The calamari however was possibly the worst I’ve ever had. They had the consistency of deep fried rubber bands, and maybe a cup and a half of product for 9$ was pretty disappointing. Attached are photos of all but the rolls, the rolls slipped off the seat of my car on the drive home and I didn’t think it would be fair to show them in the disheveled state.

I’ve always loved momiji. 2 years ago, I moved to the Klamath area which had one location, but it wasn’t very good. I moved back several months ago, and have consistently gotten GREAT food and GREAY service at this location. The place is comfortable to sit down and eat, the waiters are not overbearing they are always so sweet and helpful. Will forever be my choice for sushi

I liked their food, the friendly, attentive service, and the atmosphere was fine. All that said, I just walked in and ordered a carry-out appetizer, which I received hot and quick for a pretty much reasonable price. Also, based on past experience, katsu chicken is delish!

Ordered some sushi and got no utensils, soy sauce, or napkins in my bag. No miso soup with order to go. Sushi was about a 4/10 at best. Wish I would’ve known this before giving a 5 dollar tip. Never had these issues at any Salem location. Will not return.
