Very yummy place! The food was flavorful and delicious but we wish there was an option to make your meal spicier. We loved the butter chicken and chicken biriyani. The servers were kind and attentive!

It was my first time eating Indian food from a restaurant, so make of that what you will. I came with my family and I personally enjoyed it. Even better was that my picky kids were enjoying their meal. We had paneer, the turkey special, lamb biryani, and lamb kahari. I enjoyed the turkey best. Loved the flavor of the meat and the sauce. One kid loved the lamb, both loved the paneer. All this being said, our food lacked heat which I found surprising but at the same time thankful for because otherwise my kids would be a hard no. Biggest issue was the price. Everything amounted to more than $100 (including tip). I felt the price was too much for the food we were served. But given that it was a full service restaurant (with servers in neat ties and such) I just hope everyone was getting paid their due. I enjoyed being there but not sure if it’s worth coming back to.

We started with the appetizer sampler- 2 veg pakora, 2 samosas, 2 lamb kabob, and 2 chicken tikka. It also came with 2 onion rings that weren’t on the listing. Everything was excellent but the chicken tikka stood out. Really amazing flavor and cooked perfectly.
I usually go with the palak paneer or saag paneer for the main course, depending on what they have, and ordered the palak paneer here when we placed our order. It was fantastic, exactly what I wanted and super creamy. We got some garlic naan which was very good, and cheese naan which my mom really liked but I thought was just fine. It was interesting- sort of a thin layer of bread covered with tiny cheese cubes and another thin layer of bread, all cooked together. My mom got the butter chicken for her main course and said she really enjoyed that.
All in all one of the best Indian places around that I’ve found. The waiters made sure our glasses were never empty and the manager himself brought out the main course and checked in a couple times. I only gave the atmosphere 4 stars because it was just kind of plain compared to a lot of Indian restaurants. It just doesn’t have that visual wow factor that you get in some similar establishments, but the food made up for anything lacking in that department.

Food and Service are excellent here. They set the expectation of food before confirming the order which was good in understanding the taste of the food. Especially biryani is not a biryani, still it’s good.
Don’t expect a native biryani taste as like in our home country..
Lot of local US citizens having food over there which is really good.
Thank you Dishes of India.

We have been coming here for about 30 years. We have loved the buffet . Also now we very much take pleasure in coming for a long leisurely dinner. The atmosphere is lovely, soothing and relaxing. . Pink linens are on every table and lovely gently music playing in the background. All of the staff are welcoming gracious and helpful.
The Indian food here is the best!! Tender, moist and flavorful chicken tikka, numerous types of bread to pick from served fresh and warm. We love the Dahl soup, various tandooris, lamb karahi, lamb Biryani, the lovely fresh salad and some some of the vegetarian dishes. (Plus many others)

We love Dishes of India. My daughters and I have flocked to the restaurant for take-out and special dinners for years. The atmosphere and food transport you right to India. Their flavors are wonderful and food reliably delicious. Dishes of India will remain a familiar staple for our family!

Worst Indian food I’ve ever had in my life, Pecora was pathetic five pieces of small fried vegetables for nine dollars the Sagnier looked un appetizing. The chicken masala was the absolute worst I’ve ever had in my life. Do not go here!

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for years. The food is always excellent, the restaurant is always clean, the staff always professional. Sometimes they can be slow to refill drinks, but that’s a very minor criticism. Almost always come for the buffet (hence the picture that does not look professionally plated).
Highly recommended for anyone in or traveling through the area!

If you are looking for a hidden gem, look no further. Dishes of India is a family owned restaurant that takes pride in its authentic Indian cuisine with spices filled in each dish. The restaurant, located within a shopping center and downstairs makes this experience all the more intriguing. We ordered familiar dishes that I have recreated myself as a vegan and their spices are so welcoming and warm. The environment is welcoming and their staff is kind, attentive and hospitable. The dishes we highly recommend are: Samosa, Salmon tandoori, Veg biryani, Aloo Gobhi, Channa Masala, and an Assorted bread basket. Everything was spot on with flavors, presentation and spice… highly recommended as a family friendly restaurant who is looking for a delicious Indian experience.

Some friends and I met up for lunch at Dishes of India. I was looking forward to their buffet, but they only have it during the weekend. In any event, we ended up ordering stuff off their menu. We shared the Papri Chaat and Palak Chaat. Both dishes were so delicious…tangy and sweet, with a hint of spice
For mains, we ordered salmon tandoor, lamb korma, chicken karahi, palak paneer and aloo Gobi. We also got their naans. The food was delicious and we enjoyed every morsel.
Would definitely go back again.
