Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by the host and seated in a cozy booth near the most beautiful painting a lovely first impression. Chips and salsa arrived promptly; the salsa was good, though I added a dash of salt to make it sing.
My server, Josefina, was kind, attentive, and made the experience even better. I ordered the spinach and mushroom enchiladas with added shrimp, and oh my goodness this combination was absolutely amazing. The mushroom sauce was rich, creamy, and full of flavor, tying everything together perfectly.
I’ll definitely be stopping by again the next time I’m driving through Crockett.

First of all… The main building is not the whole restaurant. They have an extending connection and the place is bigger than it looks. No-one in my party complained about the food… it was delicious; and if youre from the big city the orices here will make you happy

We asked them if they could accommodate a no oil, no salt, no animal product meal…And they said, “Yes”. They brought out a huge plate of roasted/grilled veggies including cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, zucchini. We ordered the chunky avocado salad and put that on top of the plate of veggies, along with a bowl of their homemade salsa. At first we asked for the guacamole, but then they came back out and said that there was salt in it. Very kind of them to be truthful about all of that.

Trying to find a new favorite. Ran across this place in Crockett. The food was delicious. Even my picky child loved it. Did not expect this today. It has made my family happy and if you give it a try you will not be disappointed at all. Give a shout out to Toby on all his hard work. We will be back even if it is a long drive. We had stopped here in our way back to Texas from Louisiana. It was a little bit off our path but it was worth the trip. As we walked in we were greeted with smiles. We got seated really quickly. As soon as we sat down we were brought salsas and chips each one of the table got their own bowl of salsa which was phenomenal it was so good flavorful and a little heat to it and tasted so good. The food was large portions they gave you plenty to eat and it was fantastic I personally got the El poblano and my wife got Tacos El carbon, My son enjoyed the quesadilla. I’ll definitely recommend stopping and trying this place it was really delicious The atmosphere was fun.

I came here two days in a row. I had never been here before. I was just working in the area. The first day I ordered a queso and then I ordered the Las Maria’s with a sweet tea. The second day I ordered beef fajita quasadillas with onions added inside them and then since it was lunch hours that day, they gave me a free small queso. The food was all amazing. The staff was nice and friendly. The environment was real calm and relaxing. It definitely had the small town home vibe. Definitely will be coming back!

The salsa was great. I liked that they gave a small cheese dip with the salsa. I think the rice was dry & bland, and the charro beans were very bland. They tasted like plain pinto beans. The cheese enchilada was good. The server never checked to see if everything was ok, just dropped off the check before I was finished eating.
