Very unfortunate experience. Very sweet owners/staff but the food was awful. As a rule of thumb in this state, if a restaurant serves food on paper plates, it’s a great sign because they know they can stand on business with the taste of their food alone. Think about all the amazing ‘Mom n’ pop” BBQ, Burger, Taco and fried fish joints around the state. This isn’t the case with K Fried Chicken, unfortunately. The food is extremely bland and poorly made. The Fried Chicken is frozen and borderline freezer burnt, covered in scorch marks indicating dirty oil, too small of a frier or both. The crab Rangoon was of very poor quality and the Teriyaki Chicken was extremely tasteless with no browning/seasoning. It looked and tasted like what I imagine a high end cat food would taste like. We ordered those 3 items to go. I’ve included a photo which looks much better than it tasted. It’s sad because the lady working was so very sweet and accommodating and I really enjoyed talking to her in the limited Korean I know. What a shame.

I don’t eat bone in chicken but this place is extraordinary! I can’t even express fully how much I loved this food.
I ordered the combo meal with bone in chicken wings with Korean Yang Nyum sauce and holy tastebuds. I ate every single delicious, sticky, perfectly cooked chicken skin bite! I got mine on the spicy side but you can ask for mild.
I also had the potato wedges, picked radish (so good!!) and fried dumplings. Out. Of. This. World. Good.
My daughters had the K Roll, Dumplings and K-Dog. All top notch.
Husband got the seafood pancake and he said it was amazing.
This place is SO clean. The owners are incredibly friendly…. If you haven’t tried this place yet add it to your list. If you don’t eat bone in chicken, add this place to your list. And then keep going back so this gem stays around a long long while.

There is such a wide variety of menu options to choose from, you can’t go wrong. Our favorite selections include soy garlic wings, tteokbokki, and haemul pajeon. Having tried crab rangoon in various preparations (including my family’s homemade recipe), I can confidently say that this restaurant offers one of the best versions I’ve had. It features a generous portion of cream cheese and a delicate crisp that is difficult to find elsewhere. K Fried Chicken has become a favorite dining spot for my family, and since our first visit a few years ago, the owners have become our friends. Highly recommended.

I really wanted to like this restaurant. I’ve driven by it many times and wanted to stop every time I see it. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to the hope. The food was fine enough, but the Korean sauce (hot) tasted like a basic sweet and sour sauce with maybe a touch of something else in it. Plus it wasn’t ‘hot’ in the slightest. I probably messed up getting the chicken fingers because they were lightly breaded with something akin to panko. My Dad got the actual fried chicken, but where was the super crispy chicken I was expecting? It wasn’t in either of those dishes. The sweet and sour chicken was also just standard. The service wasnt great either. We each received half a small container of sauce and when I had gone through mine (by dipping my food), I was told another small half container would be $1.99. and don’t get me started on the extra napkins being literally tossed on the table or the look we got when we asked for an extra plate. Ah well, you can’t win ’em all ♂️

I went there last week with my sister. The food was delicious and the owners were very sweet. By far this is my favorite place to get crab rangoons, very stuffed and minimal wonton wrapper. I also got the sweet and sour chicken plate, the chicken was so delicious, and they were pretty decently sized chunks, I barely finished my plate. This is always my go to place when I’m together with my sisters.

I love this place so much it is so tasty and probably the reason imma get fat. Their crab rangoons are one of the best ive had in Springfield and they kinda taste like they have real crab in them so thats nice. The chicken is also very fire, and yummy. The K fried Mozzarella hot dog thing is so stinking tasty, ive had it twice and its probably gonna be in my order everytime. Overall very nice place to get tasty snacks.
