2024 June. Young men did it again. 3 waffles and 2 orders of sausage ready in 5 minutes or less. Be advised, no customers in the restaurant at that time.
2024 February. Young men here are excellent! Walked in, placed order and food was ready less than 10 minutes as promised and requested!

2023 June, walked inside, most seats and tables were filled, people waiting for their food as well (to go orders and those seated at tables), fully staffed, seemed really busy Sunday morning, asked someone to take my order, one person told me to give him 2 minutes, I waited between 5 and 10 minutes and decided to get up and leave, more people walked in as I walked out. Drove to another waffle house location in Newport News and got service immediately and food less than 15 minutes.
5 months prior, my review was as follows: Called while drivimg home to place order but automated message said that they were not able to take orders over the phone due to staff shortage but can serve me and take my order if I choose to dine in. So, I stopped in around 3pm and it was not busy at all, only 2 young men eating their meal at a table. So I placed my order immediately after walking inside and I had my food less than 10 minutes later. I was able to pay via Google Pay and or Apple Pay. Got home, my wife warmed up the waffles in the oven and it was delicious because of the butter and syrup. The butter was very soft and tasted really good!

For the Manager: The staff that worked the evening of 1/8/26 around 9 pm were fantastic. We were greeted by every single staff member, even ones that had clocked in after we arrived. Our server was attentive the whole time and even offered us to go drinks. I hope to have the same staff next time we come

Been coming to this Waffle house for years. Came this morning very racist and biased. Helped this store many times cleaning up and helping with snow removal this last weekend. All on camera. We have a problem serving you. Riah and Ty where very professional. They said they had no problem of serving us. Manager Sean would not come out of office and talk, very unprofessional. Cameras in store tell everything. Don’t pull aside talk right in front of customer’s out loud. Imagine being embarrassed after giving out $20 dollar tips to the servers. Picking up and dropping them off after there shift. Manager Sean and Mackenzie very unprofessional. No issue for months. I will be taking Legal actions for discrimination and harassment.

Went here in the evening, there was only 1 other customer when I arrived. There were two employees on shift. The wait staff would have to be poked and proded for refills and acted as if it was an inconvenience to serve you. My wifes sunny side up eggs are better than this joint. The place was pretty disgusting as I looked around. I guess having pride in your work space is non existent in this location.

Look by far it’s one of my favorite places to stop to eat. I got a bunch of them out there but regardless I’mma love breakfast all day everyday. Three four times a day and look on my way out of here. I might go get breakfast again. I’m just saying service is always amazing. I love you guys and my sweet tea is always on point. Love it! And the Grits was amazing. Oh my God
