I went there for an early dinner. It’s in the CVS plaza at Homestead and Hollenbeck, so plenty of parking. It’s a takeout only order and plate setup, no interior dining.
There are many main entree selections and it comes with four sides, including both protein and vegetable choices. I got the fried pork chop, three vegetable sides and a sausage. Everything was lightly seasoned, not excessively salted. The chop was huge with a crispy breading and tender.
Service was fast and with mass quantities, good for 2 meals. A good value and repeatable.

Delicious food with great value. This has been my go to quick meal place. A ~$16 bento with one main entry and 4 side dishes could serve one for two meals if not too hungry. Their side dishes are all well prepared and I think some are even better than the main dish. If you order in store you can pick the 4 you like. Though they don’t have a name for each side dish, you may need to so some finger pointing.

As a Taiwanese, I can vouch that this is a truly authentic Taiwanese bento, both in terms of the food and the way it’s run. There are many side dishes to choose from each day, so you can pick your favorites. I recommend the scrambled eggs with tomatoes. For the main dish, our favorite is the fried pork chop, which is marinated before being fried. The popcorn chicken is also great, although it’s not the best in the Bay Area.

It’s only the second time that I’ve ordered here and I found a strand of hair in my food. I know it’s not mine because I have long hair. The Taiwanese bentos here are excellent and some of the best in the Bay Area, but I lost my appetite after seeing this and threw out the rest.
