Today I want to share my experience visiting Primos Pizza & Pasta, which is now under new management. As a Miramar resident for over 15 years—and having previously lived in Pembroke Pines, a neighboring city—I’ve seen many places and restaurants change names, owners, and administrators. This particular spot has always stayed true to its roots as an Italian restaurant specializing in pizza and pasta, the kind of place I’d describe as perfect for grabbing a meal with friends after a baseball or soccer game, or enjoying time with family and kids.
Years ago, it was excellent—especially during its first ownership. I remember the original owners were Italians with accents straight out of a Robert De Niro movie . After that, I’m not sure how many owners it went through, but I believe some of them gave the place a bad reputation. However, during my recent visit under the latest management, things have finally changed for the better.
On Monday, December 8, 2025, I had a fantastic experience. From the very beginning, the service was excellent, and the food was outstanding. We ordered a Hawaiian pizza, which was served exactly as requested—light on sauce—with top-quality ingredients and a generous amount of cheese. The fried calamari was cooked to perfection, and the garlic rolls were just right—not overly greasy or overpowering. For dessert, we had a Tiramisu that was absolutely delicious and incredibly fresh.
As I mentioned, the service was first-class. The staff consistently checked on us, refilled our drinks before they were empty, and made sure we had everything we needed. Honestly, we had an amazing time!

I will say, I’ve lived in the area since 98′ never ate here because the food wasnt good at all. Recently saw it was under new management and I decided to try it. My sister bought a personal pizza for evwryone to taste and it wasn’t bad. But Management is probably worst than ever.
With this personal pizza purchased yesterday 1/25/26 they gave her a flyer which said 30% off Mondays and Tuesdays. I called to get something today and the girl stated they stopped that this morning.
So why still hand this flyers out… because its false advertising and bait and switch.
Then the owner states that promotion is only until December 31st. So why are you handing them out almost a month later.
Because of bait and switch.
I do not like businesses that work this way and like to steal customers monies. Please watch out and save your money. It the principle alone there are other places to buy from. Dont let these kinds of owners steal your money and take advantage of you. Please look the flyer with the pizza purchased yesterday and also even their Google ad says 30% off monday and Tuesdays, LIARS!

Visited Primo’s Pizza & Pasta because it was near the local hospital where I had been visiting a family member. The food was delicious! Large portions, very good prices, and service was excellent. We had the Margherita pizza, garlic rolls, salad and minestrone soup. All tasted fresh and well made – We will definitely be back!

I usually order takeout, but dining in was an incredible experience! Everything was fresh and hot. I ordered the lemon chicken dinner and it’s the best thing on the menu in my opinion. Tomas was a wonderful server and was very helpful! Don’t forget to try the tiramisu, it’s delicious! Bringing my whole family back here to dine in next time.

We discovered a gem at Primos Pasta and Pizza! Tried the Fugazzeta and Margherita pizzas and they were incredible—the dough, the flavor, and the cooking were all perfect. Cozy atmosphere, wonderful service, and we felt right at home. I’m not usually a pizza person, but this place won me over. The new ownership clearly knows pizza and how to make people happy. Highly recommend!
