Really good ice cream. Tons of flavors. Prices are decent. Only complaint is that you can only get vanilla chocolate or swirl in a cone. If you could get the wizard flavors in a cone this place would be the best around.

Service was fast, manager was professional, seating was nice, menu was informative, website was clear and concise for online orders (Slow though), place was clean, outdoor seating was placed well and well lit (For sunset visits). Trash could be emptied more frequently. The thing was overfilling.
I ordered a Cheddar Burger, (All the way) Pretzel W/ Cheese, and an Orange Smoothie. Burger was mid. Pretzel was fresh and had the perfect amount of salt. The pretzel was as good as a nice baseball game pretzel, at half the price. Orange smoothie was prolly my least favorite item I ordered- super milk heavy. Prices are VALUE.

The ice cream was not very good. Ordered a chunky monkey wizard, had maybe 4 tiny chunks of walnuts and some hard chunk of chocolate on top. The flavor wasn’t anything to write home about either. Wait time was about 15 mins for 2 wizards and 1 kid sundae. Meanwhile several other customers that ordered after us got their ice cream orders before ours. The drive through was moving much faster than the walk up window.

Paid $3.49 plus tax for chicken bites…and they were basically breading with 1 cm of dark meat chicken in a few tiny pieces…
Then I got a child’s shake and it was the size of a marinara container..paid $1.50..way to high for the amount.
Luckily they refunded the money for the chicken….not coming back here anytime soon for dinner items..

The food is excellent here! I have had a burger and fries and I have also had their Wizards. I prefer their soft serve ice cream over a a popular national chain. If tastes better and you get more for your money at Ice Cream Shack.
I also want to give a shoutout to the friendly staff. We weren’t aware that they had changed their hours, because it was nearing the end of summer. We got there right as they were closing. I looked at the posted hours and then started to walk away. A worker noticed and asked my friend an I if we wanted to place an order. Many places would not have done this, but they seemed pleased and appreciative to have our business.

Ordered 3 small wizards paid full price service was meh and the wizzards came out fast. We ordered puppy chow without chocolate chips and they made it without chocolate. Ordered a snickers wizard and they gave a scoop of a snicker on top. Ordered a pineapple wizard and had maybe 7 pineapples. Thank you for the overpriced vanilla ice cream as they didn’t make what we ordered. I hope they see this and make corrections as we love the shack.

We are here to talk about the ice cream shack of……. Sunnyland. My friend Matt and I decided to come here after grabbing some pizza from Aurelio’s in Peoria. After having some greasy pizza, you need something sweet and delectable to wrap up after a day of exceeding the recommended number of calories per day.
We arrived shortly after the sun went down. You almost wouldn’t be able to tell as the line of cars in their drive-thru was enough to make it seem like midday. That is a bit of an exaggeration but whenever I cruise by and it’s ‘ice cream shack season’, there is a line about 10-15 cars deep. This night was no exception.
After squeezing in a parking spot, we got in the human line that wasn’t as long as the car line but still impressive for the time of day. As we had plenty of time to look over the menu, Matt and I couldn’t help but remark at the millions of items on the menu. The size of the building leads you to be fooled in to thinking that this place serves only the basics. It felt like reading a novel as I looked over the dozens of options.
I’m not sure what Matt ordered but I remember getting a peanut butter malt/shake/blizzard. I don’t remember what the specific type of ice cream novelty drink it was but I remember it being delicious. I could tell by Matt’s smile that he was equally enjoying his drink as well.
Not wanting to be locked in the parking spot by the ever-long line from the drive thru, we hopped in at took off.
Since it was a quick visit, this is a short post. I have only been here the one time but I would love to revisit some day and try the bazillions of food offerings they have along with another peanut butter… anything.

Was are favorite Ice Cream place,Absolutely has gone down hill quick. My wife and I took are children and there friends out here 2 weeks ago. Order was almost $60,My wife ordered a large cup of ice cream,She was handed a small cone,She then just asked for a cup to put her ice cream in,The owner (Tall bald guy) Said $.10cents for a cup. My wife then said I actually paid for a large cup. He was very agressive towards my wife. My wife said lets give them one more chance today. Ordered a medium Wizard,was handed a kid size cup with peanuts on top,We told the young lady up front,She agreed that baldy messed up order again,The owner (Baldy) began to get mouthy again. No stars if possible,horrible costomer service.
