It was Sunday at 11pm and the staff and service was still exceptional. Fanny our server, was on top of everything that we needed. We were a fairly large group, but all our food and drinks came out quickly, hot and delicious. Thank you Fanny for taking care of us. We got the 30pc Taco Platter de Pastor! Totally recommended. The cokes and horchatas were crisp and cold!

Absolutely love this place! My favorite Mexican restaurant by far. The trompo meat is incredible—so flavorful, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. The sopes are just as amazing, fresh and packed with flavor. Everything tastes authentic and made with love. Highly recommend!

Great place to try out. A variety of meats are available. (Surprisingly, no gound beef taco meat! I’m thinking that ground beef is not as authentic as the other choices?) I had the Nacho plate with barbacoa. It was pretty tasty. Hubs had the Quesabirria plate. It was interesting, but not as tasty as expected. There are a number of items on the extensive menu that we want to come back and try. They have some alcoholic drinks ready to serve, as well as a variety of Mexican bottled soft drinks. The atmosphere comes across as authentic, cozy and welcoming. We will be back!

It’s so sad that the quality of the food here has declined so significantly in the last year. My husband and I always loved going in to the restaurant l, but now that we have moved a little further out we have to doordash. The quality of the food is not the same. Its rushed and sloppy and never fully give us the complete order. Despite this, we continue to order to give them the benefit of the doubt. Today was the final straw tho.

The absolute best tacos I have ever eaten…the Taxco Special was a delight…I come to Arlington about once a year and will be making this a regular stop! My only regret is that I didn’t find it sooner:)
