Delicious food and such a warm experience. I drove in from Torrance and tried the Vegetarian (vegan) Combination—everything was so flavorful, especially the lentils and greens. I also picked up spicy lamb Awaze Tibs for my husband and extra injera. Generous portions, great service, and absolutely worth the trip.

I’ve only had Ethiopian food a handful of times but have always enjoyed it, and Queen of Sheba exceeded my expectations. We ordered a giant platter with a variety of vegetarian lentil and vegetable stews, accompanied by fluffy tangy injera bread for picking up the saucy dishes. We also added a lamb entree with incredibly satisfying savory flavors that reminded me of a hearty tomatoey barbecuey stew.
To complete our dinner experience I had a tiny cup of strong Ethiopian coffee which balanced well with a lovely pistachio topped honey cardamom pastry.

Ethiopian food is eaten without western style utensils and injera is how one eats it. the injera here is a good, light flavor and texture. All of the vegan dishes were well seasoned – if you love spicy and flavorful go for yesimir wor (red lentil). if you prefer a more mild taste go for the cabbage or yellow split pea. Do get the ethiopian coffee and desert! Be kind. The staff is very sweet.

I enjoyed the food at Queen of Sheba. It was my first time trying the Ethiopian bread and veggies and it was very delicious. I also had their pasta. It’s a nice place for a quick meal or if you prefer carry out. I recommend the pasta, meat or veggie combo or better still try something out randomly. I did and was happy I did. I highly recommend.

Great find in this plaza serving up authentic Ethiopian food! A few tables inside so can get busy so recommend coming a little bit earlier side especially if you have a small group (3-4 people). We ended up getting recommendations from the host and got a variety platter and chose a lamb and chicken entree for our main. It came with injera that was made fresh. The food is meant to be eaten by hand with the injera and just tastes so better that way!

Brought here by my Ethiopian friends, who’ve tried over 7 Ethiopian restaurants in LA, and this one instantly stood out! The experience was nothing short of amazing. The service was warm and attentive, and the food… absolutely delicious. We also enjoyed the traditional Ethiopian coffee and incense ceremony, which made it feel even more authentic and special. The space is cozy and inviting, with beautiful paintings on the walls, spotless cleanliness, and plenty of parking available. A true gem, I’ll definitely be coming back soon!
