I had to do my rating to a 3 star because of the service and main course.

We ordered the ceviche mixto. And that was the bomb. Real traditional Peruvian ceviche. Fresh and very delicious.

We also ordered the parihuela soup and that was also delicious with fresh fish and other mixed seafood.

However the corvina rellena de camarones lacked flavor and i am pretty sure the fish was previously frozen unlike the fish in the ceviche and the soup. I could tell from the texture. Also the fillet had 3 small shrimps on top that lacked any flavor and anything fancy in preparation.

The portions are not generous but they were enough.

No contest on the recommendation.

A friend got me the “Corvina a la Chorrillana” to-go. It costs ₡14.990 and it is supposed to be served with steamed potatoes. I received only less than half of a potato, with absolutely no seasoning. I don’t know if it was a mistake, but if it is not, the price for this plate is absurd according to the food quality.

Spoon for reference. It wasn’t even a good-sized potato.

I picked this restaurant because the photos in the other reviews made me drool, and it did not disappoint. I got the limena sea bass. It was juicy and crunchy and lying on a bed of the best mashed potatoes I’ve ever had. (The potatoes really benefited from the sauce, which was maybe tomato lobster?) It was more expensive than I expected, but about on par with what I would expect for such quality food back home in the greater Boston area.

Excellent Peruvian food! The restaurant was very clean and tidy. Perfect layout to keep people apart to comply with health protocols for COVID. Service was slow. Too many tables for two people.

Very good. Consistent on flavor, meat quality. Nice terraza. Saltado is the best (better than in Peru). Salmón great. Lomito Moche is great.

A nice place, it has been certified by the Peruvian government and is in a close position to many offices. It has a lot if sea food-relsted dishes and ceviche. The place has two floors and can become crowded quickly.

The standard ceviche was not great. The fish had not been properly marinated. It was also extremely simple.

I had the classic Peruvian ceviche and it was as good as always. We sat on the terrace and it was quite nice.
