I’ve been going to Brookside Inn for a while now and it’s easily one of my favorite spots around. The atmosphere is always welcoming and the food is consistently great. Huge shoutout to the cooks Greg and Will. Those guys always make sure the food comes out right and you can tell they take pride in what they do.
The bartenders are just as awesome. Josh, Tiffany, and Leila always take care of me and make sure everyone feels welcome when they walk in. They’re friendly, attentive, and really make the place what it is.
Places like this are hard to find nowadays. Good food, good drinks, and good people behind the bar and in the kitchen. If you’re looking for a solid local spot with great service, Brookside Inn is definitely the place to go.

Spent the weekend in the poconos and wanted a quick lunch and some football on Sunday before we leave and we stumbled on the brookside inn. The venue was open and the staff friendly and accommodating. When the chef personally told me he was known as “the wing king” and he wanted to make his special peanut butter and jelly wings I was sold. I’m happy to report the name is justified. The wings were top notch and the sauce had pbj vibes while not being overly sweet of gimmicky. Great place for locals or anyone visiting tobyhanna

We had a meal the week of Christmas and were able to talk without shouting, then play the pinball machine. It was a nice local getaway. They have a pool table, modern jukebox, and boy was I surprised to see one of those old cigarette vending machines, brought back memories of upstate/Canadian ice rinks, lol! Staff was very attentive, friendly, and I ordered the local brew with recommended popular cheesesteak. It was very hearty (if on the salty side) but great for a quick bite. I took the extras home. Would go again and easily recommend.

I ordered a cheesesteak pizza and expected what the sandwich looks like, well at least somewhat. I get my pizza I look at it and WOWWWW what a disappointment I saw. I’m not ordering here again for pizza and they put on the website best seller..? No Thankyou, plus the price I figured it would be good but nope.

Looked small from the outside, but this bar has a lot of room inside. Long wooden bar, with a high ceiling towards the back to give it a lodge kind of feel. Bar tender was great and asked for my name and then welcomed me to the bar, which was a nice touch. Food was delicious and the beer was nice and cold. Decent amount of beers on tap for a small bar. Looks like there is a back deck and backyard too with horse shoes. Couple PA gambling machines too. Good amount of TVs to watch sports/TV. Over all a cool bar and hangout spot for a small town.

Awesome locals bar. One pool table but music is loud and fun. Bartenders are always attentive and inclusive. Food is a decent array, been here a few times and it’s been of good quality each time. My favorite spot in the area for fun casual bar eat.

Ordered for my family of 4. Burgers, mozzarella sticks, chili fries. My burger had a blue cheese taste, which was weird (I don’t care for blue cheese). I ordered a steak house burger, which came with fries. Chili is flavourful. They were busy, so the pick-up order was 50 minutes to ready.

The food was tasty that I had. I only ordered soup so I feel that I can’t really judge the food but someone else ordered french fries and let me tell you. They are so good. They are truly hand cut.. they really hit the spot. I also liked our bartender. She was attentive to us and really friendly.

Brookside Bar is always a great time, but Tiffany and Nicolle make it amazing! They’re super friendly, fast, and know exactly how to make everyone feel welcome. Whether it’s a busy weekend night or a chill weekday, they always keep the drinks flowing and the vibes high. You can tell they really care about their customers — they remember your usual, crack jokes, and make sure everyone’s having fun.

Placed an order on grubhub and the delivery driver was an hour out so the order got cancelled PER grubhub so I did a pick up order to go pick it up and was told they will not accept the order because I cancelled it. I let the person know on the phone the issue and let them know grubhub cancelled it not me. The person hung up the phone on me with such a diva attitude. Im so disappointed because I never had this issue here before and that gave me such a bad taste in my mouth for this establishment. Disgusting and very unprofessional!
