This place had delicious food and great customer service. The only thing I didn’t love was the coconut shrimp but I’m not typically a person that likes coconut. If you love coconut shrimp, I would say give theirs a try! The host and server were extremely pleasant and quick. There was no wait and plenty of parking. I love the newspaper as the plate lining; I thought that was very creative and unique!

We visited on Christmas Day. Servers were super busy and the menu was limited – no problem. Salmon not so good. We have had better salmon than what we were served at this place. The broccoli could have appreciated a little more love before serving. Overall an okay experience. I appreciate all the staff that was working on Christmas Day and they all were great!

We drove into Destin and chose this restaurant based on the location being next to the hotel.
On the way to the hostess stand we were greeted by multiple staff members. They were all super friendly and ready to welcome us with a Hello and a smile.
We decided to begin with a calamari as an appetizer. The fried calamari was overdone and it did not taste fresh.
Dinner Items Ordered:
Fried Chicken Tenders with French Fries, this plate was served with enough that we had leftovers. Fresh tasting and well cooked.
Ribeye Steak with Mashed Potato, the steak was cooked to the proper temperature, well seasoned; however, the meat was not the best quality.
Kids Rib Plate, decent portion for younger guest. The ribs were not able to be enjoyed due to them being a little spicy.
Favorite Part of Visit:
1. Our server, Jasmine, was warm, friendly, and kind. We never had to ask for anything. We love the fact that she played trivia with us while we were waiting on our food.
2. Dessert, it would be worth another trip. The plating was so well executed on all of our desserts. They were all fresh, warm and absolutely delicious. The Strawberry Shortcake is not something I normally would purchase but I am so glad I did. It was a rich Shortcake with a cream layer underneath the ice cream.
3. Atmosphere, the entire staff was friendly. Very attentive to the customers. And it was fun reading all the different facts around the room.

I was in town for my Birthday, this weekend from Tallahassee. The food was hot, and delicious. The restaurant was very clean, and I enjoyed the Forest Gump scenery, inside. Alasia, my Server was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely return again, next time I’m in Destin.

Manager Bud and our server Chris were super kind and explained things well. They were very professional and we joined the awards program because of Bud & a SUPERMODEL server named Jasmine told us how to do things properly. We ate there twice today and this evening Chris was our server all 3 are so fantastic especially Jasmine please keep these 3 special employees for a long time. I have never heard of this restaurant (I know, I know) but this place was super cute! The decor, the signs at the table and the trivia made it even cuter and fun! The food, DELISH! We shared the clam chowder, shrimp Mac and cheese and the ribeye. More than plenty and portions were great! Enough for the both of us for lunch tomorrow! If you’re ever in Destin and craving a great seafood experience, yall should definitely try it here! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming. Thr food was great as always, but the real highlight of our visit was our server, Jasmine.
Jasmine was nothing short of outstanding! She greeted us with a warm smile and a genuine enthusiasm for making sure our meal was perfect. Her knowledge of the menu made it easy to navigate the options, and she gave excellent recommendations for both food and drinks. We have takien a vacation to Fort Walton Beach for the last 5 consecutive years and this is one of our stops each time. Usually not a long wait, foods great and atmosphere. This last time was much different though… Chris (our waiter) was probably one of the best servers I’ve had in my lifetime. From the balloons for the kids, making sure my beer glass didn’t get empty, all the food(mahimahi shrimp grilled, me and wife get everytime) excellent!!!!!! Also Chris started a pop quiz on a bunch of Forrest Gump trivia for all the guests. Great time like always but the last time was epic! All while he was handling some upset customers that didn’t like their food. He turned their moods right around with everything he did. Thanks again Chris and all the staff at the Destin Bubba Gump… we will be back in about 2 years since we are taking a year break from this trip. Doing Daytona Beach this coming summer so we will check the other location out!!!
