Every time we come to Old Forge area from
Long Island, we visit Anthony’s. Always top notch food and service. We love the old school atmosphere. Filet mignon, chicken parm, bolognese are top notch. I’ve had different seafood dishes here many times and it’s always super fresh and tasty!! The desserts are all homemade and great too. Highly recommend!!! Make a reservation though bc it can be busy!

We went here for a business dinner and it was great. The service was friendly and attentive and the food was delicious.
We tried the thin red pizza, which was delicious and so crunchy! We loved it!
We also tried the steak, which was very good and came with an amazing demiglace, and the linguini with white clam sauce, which was very good as well!
We would definitely recommend this restaurant!

We love everything about this place. If your looking for a steak it’s the best place around. I ordered veal franchise and got chicken, but the sauce was delicious. Desserts were amazing. The apple pie crust was absolutely delicious and home made. Highly recommend!

Fantastic! Idk why it took me so long to finally go there! I’m a local to old forge for 12 years & I wish I found it sooner! Best porkchop I’ve ever had hands down! Please make the porkchop marsla a main menu item! Also some of the best lamb I ever had! Both were specials but should be on main! Clams were perfect also! & great cocktails! Oh & the deserts where off the chain!!

Food is ample and good. Decor is a bit dated, and the staff a bit ‘gruff’ (but maybe it’s just the area), but we thoroughly enjoyed our dinners. Recommend the fra diablo and chicken parm. Sea bass special was ok, but a bit salty.

We arrived at 7 p.m. on. Friday evening, and quickly realized we should have made reservations, as the place was extremely busy. We waited a little more than 10 minutes before Aiden (more on him later) was able to find us an outdoor table and brought us our drinks. Outdoor seating is on the front sidewalk of the business, where 10 feet away was the busy Friday night South Main Street traffic.
We had to wait an additional 25 minutes before our server came to take our order, but our dinner was brought to us 50 minutes after we arrived.
The 6-slice Old Forge-style “red” pizza was very good. The crust was thick and crunchy, but practically melted in your mouth. We also ordered 8 cuts of the double-crusted white pizza, which consisted of a blend of cheeses stuffed between oven baked pizza dough, topped with oregano and baked onions. That pizza was delicious as well.
Anthony’s is worth the trip, but not the wait, especially if you just want some pizza. It is highly recommended to make reservations. If it wasn’t for the hustle of the busboy Aiden, our night could have been a disaster. He clearly stepped up and made sure our evening went somewhat smoothly.

Ate here last night on my visit from Long Island. Nothing but good things to say about this place. Stephanie was the waitress and she recommended the fettuccine bolongese absolutely delicious. Great waitress with some well appreciated insight to the old forge neighborhood, just an overall great experience. I’m impressed to say the least and will definitely be back next time I’m in town.

Our first time, and not our last. My Alfredo Bolognese was incredible. The apps were incredible. Mushroom caps with crab meat, long hots with prosciutto and provolone. Peanut Butter Pie for desert was delectable. Everything was home made. Waitresses were nice and personable. We had a trainee tonight who was being helped by a veteran. They were both great. This will be our new Friday “once every 2 weeks” spot. Worth the 35 minute drive from Dallas to Old Forge

What’s up food crew! Came in with a dinner party of 13. On top of them being very busy our servers did not drop the ball or miss a beat. Had a lemon drop martini which was made perfect. Had an appetizer being the stuffed mushrooms with crab meat. This could have been a meal in itself. 3 nice size mushrooms stuffed with crab meat. Delicious. Now for my entree I got linguine with vodka sauce and I added a meatball, holy hell this was a gigantic meatball. Too stuffed for dessert! Everything was delicious and will be back on the future to do a video review. Until next time be blessed and stay safe.
