We stopped at Meef’s to try something new, and I think we have stumbled across a new favorite. Four of us dined in, and we also ordered a meatball sub amd antipasto salad to go for another person at home. I ordered the chicken Rotallini, my husband ordered veal, one daughter ordered manicotti, and the other daughter ordered lasagna. We all greatly enjoyed the food. It was such huge portions, we had to take some home and had enough leftover for dinner the next night. I highly recommend giving them a try. They were not busy at all for a Sat night (it was pretty late on Sat-not sure how busy they get during reg bus hours), so try and give them some love.

Great food, nice service, pleasant atmosphere. Be aware some pasta has an extra kick of spice that you don’t get at other Italian restaurants. Chef is from Sicily!

We had a great family dinner here. Reasonable prices and good quantities. Chicken Parmigiana was very good. Nice sized piece of chicken breast. Spaghetti was tasty but the sauce was really thick. Could have been thinner. Small salad was included. The trio plate was also very good and big enough to take the lasagna home. Kids meals were a nice size too. Could include a small drink in the price instead they got a huge lemonade at an extra fee but they couldn’t finish it.

Had lunch here yesterday. My mom wanted to try a new spot and we settled on Meef’s. Server was nice and attentive. Food was delicious…I had the chicken Marsala and my mom had the meat lovers calzone. Absolutely wonderful meal, will be back.

I’ve been wanting to try this restaurant since it opened, despite some of the lower-rated reviews. Unfortunately, the cons outweighed the pros here.

Pros: The garlic knots were awesome. The service was friendly and polite, and the restaurant is cleaner than it was when it used to be CBCBs. The portion sizes are also huge.

Cons: The spaghetti is the exact same quality and consistency you’d expect from a can of Chef Boyardee. The side salad was literally just shredded green lettuce for tacos with a few pre-shredded carrots and cabbage pieces mixed in. The chicken parm was fine, but the sauce lacked flavor. Everything was costly—the side salad was $6/bowl (you could get an entire bag of salad mix from the store for that price) and the chicken parm was $26.

Atmospherics: The restaurant still looks like a burger bar. There are a few pictures of Italy plastered on the walls and Italian-themed music playing on the loudspeakers, but neither of those things makes this feel like a nice Italian restaurant. The owner should really consider putting white tablecloths on the tables, scrapping the paper placemats, and replacing the Blue Moon umbrellas on the patio tables with plain ones—all things that would make this place look upscale without actually needing to do much work or increase prices. It could benefit from some brighter lighting and some interior updates, too.

The chicken was fine enough to bring home the leftovers, and I of course took the garlic knots. The spaghetti was just not good. Unless prices are lowered and the quality of the food improves overall, I likely won’t be back. As others have mentioned, money would’ve been better spent at a chain like Olive Garden (which, by a lot of people’s standards, isn’t a “real” Italian restaurant in the first place) or any other small, locally owned Italian restaurant.

I went to Meefs for lunch with a friend. We both had cannolis. I had a vegetarian which was filled with spinach, mushrooms, and more. It was about 12 inches in length and surprisingly only $10! I hope my pictures do it justice. The atmosphere has a cozy bar feel.

Had Eggplant Parmesan- which was excellent . Very similar to homemade traditional cooking. The pasta was tasty & full textured similar to homemade.

I enjoyed the outdoor seating area on a beautiful summer day. If you like Italian cooking, check it out.

Overall, this restaurant is a winner. My wife had the Baked Ziti and I had the Chicken Palermo. Both were amazing. Paired with a Chianti made it the perfect dinner. The service was also outstanding. We highly recommend you try it out.

The food is amazing here. I had the veal Parmesan and it came with spaghetti and it was excellent. The portions are huge and the prices are good. My wife had the spaghetti with the meat sauce and said it was delicious. The waitress said that they’ve only been open up three months as an Italian restaurant so they weren’t super busy on a Tuesday night. Everything is made to order. Hidden gem, definitely recommend it. and I can’t forget to mention how great the service is.

Delicious Caesar salad and spaghetti bolognese with two pieces of garlic bread. Generous portion meant I had lunch for the next day. It was the first day for the darling waitress who did a beautiful job taking care of me. I love the ample booth seating! Highly recommend.

I personally would like the lights to be dimmed somewhat, but that’s the only change I’d recommend.
