Stopped in this morning for a jalapeño omelet and a coffee. The coffee wasn’t anything special but got the job done and the omelet was pretty decent. The service was excellent and the guy who helped me was very attentive and helpful.

Stopped by the Cranbury location for takeout — I’d been on the hunt for a good lobster roll in the area and wanted to give Princeton Soup and Sandwich a try.
The food itself was good. The New England-style lobster roll had fresh, tasty lobster meat, and the lobster bisque (I got a quart) was creamy, rich, and very well made. Online ordering and pickup were smooth and easy, no issues there.
My main hesitation is the price. The lobster roll was $38 and was on the small side for that price point. The quart of bisque also ran close to $38. So for roughly $78 on a lobster roll and soup, it felt steep for what I got. The quality is there — I just wish the value matched it a bit more.
If you’re nearby and craving a solid lobster roll or bisque, it’s worth a visit. But at nearly a 25-minute drive for me, I’m not sure I could justify making it a regular spot at these prices.

I ordered the lobster bisque 12 ounce and a turkey egg and cheese on an everything bagel. I am eating the lobster bisque currently after leaving it in the bowl for probably about 45 minutes. It is still hot. It is absolutely delicious and when I say I eat a lot of lobster bisque, but this is in my top. This is probably in my top two. This absolutely divine. Do not hesitate I am a soup queen run don’t walk and and grab the soup. I didn’t even have to heat it back up. I don’t know what type of magic bowl they keep it in. This is so very delicious and the customer service is 100% on .0h yeah and I have lemonade as well. It’s really good.

Loved the food. Classic sandwiches and delicious soups. This new location is extremely clean, spacious, and well-kept. The person working at the register was very friendly, and the turnaround time for the food was quick. It’s very obvious that most of the things served here are made in house given the great quality and unique flavors. I loved the tomato basil rice soup. The veggie burger is also great; it’s nice to have a burger that isn’t just a frozen store-bought patty.
I will definitely be a regular here given the great quality and consistent standards I’ve seen being a customer at the Princeton location.
On a side note–I’m quite shocked by the lower reviews here. I think we should give this place the benefit of the doubt that it’s a new location/they have the grace period where they’re getting adjusted to the new location/operations. I have always been impressed when I visit the Princeton location, and found the quality to always be consistent.
Also, to the people who were disappointed in not getting fries included as a side and not getting turkey breast in your sandwich, you probably should have asked while ordering instead of complaining later…just a thought LOL

I had the delicious Spicy Rancher Chicken Sandwich, and the service was unbelievable. It was paired with the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. The sauce was incredible, complementing the perfectly fried chicken. The spice level was mild, which I appreciate, while the ranch added a creaminess that melts in your mouth. Additionally, I had the WORLDS BEST LOBSTER BISQUE HERE A+ all around.

Working in Cranbury and needed something different for lunch. Princeton Soup and Sandwich is excellent. I had creamy tomato with chicken and orzo with a grilled cheese. Both were excellent. Staff are pleasant and courteous. I highly recommend this place for a meal.

I would have given a 5 star rating, but my TAVO, which as the name implies and the list of ingredients indicate, there is supposed to be avacado on the sandwich. There was NONE. It was my first time there and I will try it again and mention the absence of avacado.
This is a follow up. I went back to this eatery and they gave me a free TAVO sandwich. It was absolutely delicious. Their food is definetely 5 stars! And so is the service! I’ve changed both of those ratings to 5 stars.
