first time going last night. atmosphere was amazing, but thats where it stopped for me. our waitress was less than friendly, seemed annoyed to wait/talk on us even. then she left immediately after taking our money. I had a bill discrepancy (nothing major, just forgot to split the bill for us), so had to get a manager. the food was a bit of a let down. the udon soup was terrible and the sushi was really plain. Tokyos is 100x better. I wont be back, this is a recommended skip for me.

I wasn’t going to leave a review but after getting home and finding plastic in my food, I absolutely must. First of all… the lady picking up an order before me spent over $80 on food from this restaurant and asked for extra soy sauce. The manager came up to the young lady at the front after the customer left, and scolded her for giving the woman extra sauce like she asked. lol what? And I don’t mean one small comment… I mean literally scolding her in front of me and went on a long 3 min rant about sauce and how people don’t know how much they’re asking for. Then commented on how expensive it is. If a customer is buying a big portion of food and asks for sauce to match that, who are you to scold a worker, let alone in front of said paying customers? ♀️ I could understand if your food and service quality is top tier, but for me to get home after that and find PLASTIC in my sushi is absurd. Whoever that gentleman was needs to be more concerned with what goes on in the kitchen.

This place is so good and brings a different atmosphere than other restaurants with the couches, definitely encourages the group to relax and have a conversation.
Love that they have a variety of appetizers and small dishes, almost makes it to where you could have a “tapas” Japanese experience. Also this makes it to where you can mix it up and not just eat sushi (although don’t get me wrong, the sushi is great).
The service is great, the owners are usually there working either the bar or the kitchen. He makes some mean cocktails and she can make an excellent creme-brûlée

My wife and I went this evening to give them a try. Our daughter is a hostess there, and has continually bragged about the cuisine. She was RIGHT!
We were seated immediately at one of the available sofa tables (small, personal, cozy sofa on each side of the table). Had a small centerpiece lamp with just enough light to read the menus and eat by.
My wife and I started with a lychee martini and Tito’s dirty martini respectively. They were each ice cold and expertly mixed.
For our appetizer, we chose spicy edamame. It was tender, and the small amount of sauce to make it “spicy” was so good that I saved the remainder to dip my upcoming entree in.
For our entrees, I ordered the Peppercorn Maguro and the Sushi Sampler. The former was the absolute BEST item at a sushi restaurant that I’ve EVER tasted. My wife ordered the the Volcano Roll and was equally impressed.
Our server, Hailey, was attentive and friendly, and didn’t interrupt my and my wife’s conversations; only interjecting when she could tell we might need something.
Overall, were going to make this a regular destination for our rare date nights (perhaps more regular from now on).
Kudos to the owners and staff. A true gem in Beaumont.

I recently dined at Koi Sushi Restaurant and had a wonderful experience. The sushi was incredibly fresh, with each piece prepared beautifully and full of flavor. The presentation was elegant, and you could tell the chefs put real care into every dish.especially try high Roller.

Everything was absolutely delicious! My husband and I enjoyed each dish that we had. Including our dirty martinis. Everyone was very friendly and the atmosphere was really nice. The music was good but, it would be nice to have it mixed up a little. All over rating is a big 5.

Service was perfunctory and the sushi was bland. Even the rice in rolls and nigiri was completely unseasoned, without even a hint of salt or vinegar. The sashimi was, admittedly, very good. Not a terrible experience, but quite disappointing and not one I would pay to repeat. Will not be returning.

Everything was good! Food and drinks. A lil pricy but you get what you pay for. We enjoyed ourselves and our waitress was very friendly and informative. Definitely will be going back.

Best sushi place in Beaumont!!! I have been here twice now, I’m sad that I have missed out on such great sushi . I promise any dish you pick will not disappoint. The sushi roll I have there is not on the menu I believe it’s called the Wasabi crunch roll. This is a perfect place to come relax with a date or a friend nothing is rushed the drinks are also great. They have this Wasabi bloody Mary which was very good last time I had it.
