In the vibrant city of Redmond, amidst the towering buildings and bustling streets, there existed a culinary haven known as the “Taste of Hyderabad Restaurant.” This culinary gem wasn’t just a place to eat; it was a sanctuary where flavors danced, cultures converged, and stories unfolded.
The tale of “Taste of Hyderabad” began with a passionate chef, whose roots traced back to the sun-soaked streets of Hyderabad, India. Growing up amidst the aromatic spices and rich culinary traditions of his homeland, he dreamed of sharing the flavors of his childhood with the world.

Taste of Hyderabad is a great place for flavorful food. I tried the chicken mandi and it was really good, with tender meat and great seasoning. The raju gari kodi chicken pulao was also delicious and very satisfying. I also had the nannari soda, which was refreshing and nice. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience.

Ordered the tandoori chicken mandi, which was easily sufficient for two people. The food tasted really good and was served hot and fresh. Since mandi takes time to prepare, I wish they accepted prior orders so it could be ready when I arrive, but honestly, the wait was worth it. The chicken was cooked perfectly, flavorful, and well done. Really enjoyed the meal.

I recently ordered haleem from Taste of Hyderabad, and it was really delicious. The texture was rich and smooth, and the flavors tasted very authentic, just like traditional Indian haleem. Even though it was a pick-up order, the food was packed well and still warm when I got it. Overall, a great experience and definitely worth trying if you love genuine Indian taste!

If I were to ignore the ambience of this place, the food is pretty good. I tried the Gongura Chicken Briyani – ideally it is supposed to be pretty spicy. However here the spice level were minimal but still very flavorful.
I also liked the chickoo shake they had. Overall thumbs up for a Briyani spot.

Taste of Hyderabad offers ample free parking and plenty of seating, making it a convenient spot for larger groups. The food is decent, though nothing particularly stands out. Staff service is average—not unpleasant, but lacking the warmth or attentiveness that makes customers feel especially welcomed. Expect to spend around $20–30 per person. Overall, it’s a functional choice for casual dining, but there’s room for improvement in both service and flavor.

The biryani is excellent—richly spiced and very flavorful. We tried the Raju Gari Kodi Pulav and Chicken 65 Biryani, and both were outstanding. Although the restaurant was technically closed, the staff member on duty still made the effort to take our order and serve us, which was appreciated. The in-store ambiance is quite poor, but the food quality alone makes it worth visiting.

Ordered two appetizers and a Juicy Mandi, but three appetizers were delivered within just five minutes. The food didn’t taste good, wasn’t hot, and overall felt low quality. We ate and left—and ended up feeling sick the next day. Later, we also found out that the restaurant doesn’t serve fresh food. Disappointing experience.

I went to Taste of Hyderabad, Redmond location for dinner with my family last night. The Chicken Dum Biryani had a balanced spice level and the portion was quite generous. It was a decent experience for a weekend outing.

Taste of Hyderabad does offer an authentic taste of Indian cuisine, with bold flavors and spices that really stand out. If you enjoy spicy food, you’ll love the dishes here, but be warned, some are quite fiery! Almost every item is spice multiplied twice/thrice at minimum. While the food quality is good, I found the vegetarian options that are on lower spice level to be limited, which was a bit disappointing.
The space is small but cozy, though it can get crowded on weekends, so expect a wait. The staff is friendly, but the service was slower than I would have liked. Overall, it’s a decent spot for authentic Indian food, but there are a few areas that could use improvement.

Great food and genuinely warm staff. One day I ordered Idli through DoorDash, but they had run out of fresh batter. The next time I visited, they remembered and surprised me with a complimentary Uttapam to make up for it. That kind of thoughtful service really stood out.
