This place is truly a hidden gem run by the sweetest Korean husband-and-wife duo. From the moment we walked in, they were incredibly hospitable and welcoming, which already made the experience special.
We stopped by while on a road trip from Savannah toward Florida and were craving some Korean food. After doing some research on Reddit to find an authentic spot, this place came up — and it absolutely delivered!
The food comes very close to homemade Korean cooking. My husband is Korean, and I studied in Korea for four years, so we’re pretty particular when it comes to Korean food. We ordered the Pork Bulgogi and Galbitang, and both were delicious. We devoured everything, and my husband even ordered an extra bowl of rice, which is always the ultimate sign of approval.
This spot is well worth the stop and we’ll definitely be back if we’re ever in the area again

This place is a 5/5! It’s a wonderful restaurant in Brunswick.
They’re super authentic, making their own kimchi and everything in-house. Plus, they’re incredibly accommodating. Just tell them what you like, and they’ll easily find something for you. The service is attentive and super polite. I’m planning to visit as often as I can. The banchan was fantastic, and the rice quality is great. It’s all around super high-quality food.

Amazing hole in the wall kind of place.
Run by I’m presuming a nice family and the decoration is photos in the restaurant or of the family! It’s the kind of atmosphere where it feels like you were invited over for dinner.
No music playing either, by the way, just a TV.
Food feels home-cooked and wholesome!
There’s a long list of options (50+) so it’s definitely a place to keep coming back to.

This place was great. I was down in Brunswick visiting my mom and decided that I wanted to try some of their Korean restaurants in the town. I decided to go to this one and I was not disappointed. I lived in Korea for a couple of months Back when I was 12 years old and this reminded me of the food that I used to eat over there. I have had Korean food over the years and nothing really ever came close but this did. I got the Yaki Mandu and the Bulgogi and rice. The goalie was very juicy tender and tasted great. The Yaki Mandu Was crispy and tasted amazing. It is a very small restaurant maybe eight tables on the inside. And I do believe it is family owned, so there will be a little weight when it comes to getting your food. Overall, it is worth the wait because the food is good it comes out fresh. The portions of food are great, especially for a single person. The two negatives that I will mention is, the food is expensive, and they no longer sell kimbab.

The place is amazing. I’ve traveled all over the world and I thought I knew good Korean food. One of my favorite restaurants in Almaty, Kazakhstan was a fine dining Korean restaurant but honestly? This place serves better food. It’s funny because it has zero curb appeal. It looks like it’ll be a greasy spoon hole in the wall but then when your food comes out it’s simply delicious. It’s set up in typical East Asian style with pics of all the food on the wall. I always like that. You can look at the menu with words then compare it to the picture on the wall. It’s pricey it’s worth every penny. If the food is worth the price I’ll never complain. I’m happy to pay top dollar for amazing food. I’ve eaten at too many places around Brunswick now that are expensive but terrible. I think this place may be my new favorite restaurant. You should go. It won’t disappoint.

This was the best restaurant!!! We visited Saint Simons and ate out every day for a week but nothing was so good that I would have taken the time to review it. On our last night, we drove to Brunswick to try this Korean restaurant and we were so glad we did!! They went above and beyond what I could have imagined. We were at first surprised at the prices of $15-25 a plate. But then the food came and we realized why. It was rolled out on a cart and the presentation was beautiful! The portions were huge and the service was better than any restaurant I’ve been to. The $20 Bulgogi (#5) was piled high on a cast iron skillet. I assumed the rice was under, but nope. The rice came separate in a small bowl along with all the toppings in individual bowls that they would refill for us consistently. My husband got $25 La gal Bee (#6) and it came out still sizzling. The steak was cooked to perfection. Again, piled high on a cast iron skillet. The meat from just one dish would have been enough for a family of 4. We also tried jap chae (#13) which was similar to the bulgogi meat but mixed with tons of translucent noodles. My son had seafood Ramen and chose medium spice… which was quite spicy! The chef joked with him that you always start with mild if it’s your first time! Haha. We still ate it all and took home some bulgogi with rice and all the toppings. We loved all the toppings: kimchi, some type of root, bean sprouts, seaweed and cucumbers.Their kimchi is made fresh and delicious but our favorite topping was the marinated cucumbers. The owners were so incredibly nice and hospitable. We will definitely return again on our next visit to St. Simons.
