La Luna café Is a localy owned coffee shop in Sioux Falls, SD. Since October of 2019 La Luna has been serving Sioux Falls some of the best coffee and food! Our coffee menu includes anything from black coffee, to lattes to espresso milkshakes! Our food menu includes a variety of open faced sandwiches, waffles, pizzas burrito bowls and more! If you love great vibes & coffee then you’ll absolutely love La Luna Cafe!! I couldn’t get enough of the esthetics, and comfortable, chill atmosphere!! I had their Dirty Chai and it was amazing as were their waffles I also appreciated that the art work displayed by local artists was for sale outstanding!!

The food was absolutely delicious! The waffles were not only beautiful but so tasty, and the breakfast pizza was great too. The drinks were gorgeous and perfectly made. My girls and I enjoyed it so much! We’re from Minnesota but will definitely be back. It’s such a cute little spot — perfect for a date or a girls’ day out. The artwork is beautiful, and the whole place has this quaint, bougie vibe with amazing food. Highly recommend!

The interior is clean and comfortable with a nicely constructed style. We experienced several less than ideal transactions, however the experience was not, overall, regrettable.
I would recommend saving a cash tip for after your service instead of tipping as you pay, before your food arrives.
The coffee was excellent, and skillfully prepared. We were given a rude look for pointing out that the order was entered incorrectly and that the order was for an iced coffee, not a regular one.
There is an option to upgrade your order to steak on the avocado toast. When we attempted to do this we were told that was not an option, then we pointed out the option and were told it could be done and finally, we were given chicken instead of steak regardless of the back and forth.
Finally, the rice bowl was 17.50, and was not a large serving and had little to substantiate.
I witnessed some other patrons who ordered the waffles, which looked amazing. I would order in that direction if you choose to dine here.
Overall, likely an off day for service. I do regret tipping so generously as we were unimpressed by the food, and had to buss our own table. Twenty percent on the front end left me feeling a small pitty party for my wallet.

The food here is really great. Good selection of teas (Richi) and coffee as well. Nice people too and the owner is hands-on. You order at the counter when you walk in, then go to a table. It can get busy during peak times.

We really enjoy La Luna Cafe. We appreciate the atmosphere & the food. We were disappointed when we went recently to learn that the wait staff does not keep the credit card tips (maybe this is common place, but we were unaware?!). Also we arrived an hour before close & were nicely informed our meals would be served in to-go containers. We make an effort to not produce extra waste, especially if plastic, like the smoothie to-go cup. Overall we really like your cafe, but just wanted to let you know we found these things to be a bummer. Thanks!

This place is the perfect place for a quick meet up or to get some work done in a peaceful environment. The art displayed ranges in types but all comes together to be very visually pleasing! Even the bathroom is artsy! Absolutely love it and highly recommend.

First time visiting. Went for the burger battle burger. The burger was full of flavor, the bun was a perfect compliment to the dipping sauce as it held up nicely. The actual burger was seasoned well and had a nice bite to it. The cafe itself is quaint and welcoming. You order and pay at the counter and get a number before finding a place to sit while you wait for your meal. There’s free water to help yourself too, as well as a station to gather your napkins, condiments and flatware. There’s also tubs to dispose of your dishes when you are finished. My only real complaint is the fact that they ask for a tip when you order. I understand it’s optional, but seems odd to ask prior to seeing how the service is, before trying the food, and having to get your own flatware, condiments and having to bus your own table.
Overall, a nice little place, and I’m sure I’ll be back to try other menu items.

The atmosphere is great very relaxing seats are very comfortable. I ordered the classic Waffle and paired it with a latte made with almond milk. Service was great and friendly. The wait for the drink and food was longer than I expected. But once I received the food it was well worth the wait. You can tell it is made fresh to order. I don’t usually order waffles let alone eat the entire order. But these were the absolute BEST waffles I’ve ever had. The latte was delicious as well.

Not a bad breakfast spot. Food was really good. I’m not a fan of tipping while ordering before you get served or taste the food; should be after the experience IMO … something to consider when going here. However, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
