Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I think we are on order number 13 in a row since this place opened where all of our beverages are sweet tea instead of unsweet tea. If we don’t check them before we leave, we always get a sweet surprise when we get home.

I’m a fan! I’ve been so excited to try this spot and I wasn’t disappointed. The burgers were made fresh and come out hot and our toppings were fresh (nothing wilted or weird looking). Our fries were crispy and again.. come out hot! The staff was really friendly and the whole place was really clean.

My first whataburger!… When me and my girl told her this was our first Whataburger experience, she was hooked us up with what they had. I was eating the best burger I’ve had in a very long time. Maybe the best onion rings I have ever had… Kim was so so sweet. I only wanna go back to that one from now on!. .

We love the burgers at these restaurants, and this one is no exception! We had an outstanding experience with great service from Kim — better than many sit down wait staff places we’ve been to. Great place to hang out for an hour for food and shakes.
