Awesome little bagel spot in Fishhawk! They do one thing and do it well! Fresh baked and tasty bagels served fresh daily. I got the Everything bagel which came fresh out of the over it was still warm! Added chive cream cheese which was excellent, real pieces of chives in it you can tell it was handmade. It had a whipped type consistency which was perfect. I am regretting that it took me almost a year to come here, but now that I know about it I’ll have to make it a weekly routine. Nothing like a fresh bagel and cream cheese

Had the most amazing bagel I’ve had in Florida:
Nova with jalapeño cream cheese on a Sesame bagel! Bagel was fresh and perfect toasted with generous amount of Nova, and fresh onions and tomatoes. Jalapeño cream cheese gave it a nice kick!

Stopped in for breakfast sandwiches to go. The staff was courteous and helpful. They made placing a large order easy. The food was prepared quickly and tasted great. There is a drive-thru or counter service inside. According to the message on the phone, they take call ahead orders for the next day, but not day of.

I really wanted to love FishHawk Bagels, and in many ways, I still do. The story behind it—an owner from New York bringing authentic bagels to the community—is something I truly appreciate. And when it comes to the bagels themselves, you can tell they’re the real deal. The crispy exterior and chewy interior make it clear these are properly boiled bagels, just like they should be.
There’s a lot to like about this place! The service was friendly, the store has ample seating for groups of all sizes, and the owner, Mr. Ramos, was working alongside his team, which is always great to see. Plus, a drive-thru for a bagel shop? That’s a fantastic convenience!
That said, a few things held back my experience. A big part of choosing a bagel is seeing the selection, but with the focus shifting toward the drive-thru, the display is hidden from customers inside the store. I’d love to see that changed. My everything bagel also had very little seasoning—whether it was left sitting too long before being coated or just didn’t get enough in the first place, it missed that signature bold flavor. Lastly, while I asked for my bagel toasted, it came out nearly burnt.
Overall, I’d still recommend FishHawk Bagels for the quality and authenticity, but a few tweaks would take this place to the next level. I’ll definitely be back, hoping for a better experience next time!

This place has amazing and authentic New York style bagels! As a former NJ/NY girly who moved to Tampa, its been hard finding an authentic bagel that has the taste, chew and consistency of a true NY bagel. This place hits the spot! I am obsessed with their cinnamon honey cream cheese – it’s beyond tasty. The chive cream cheese with delicious as well. The owner is very kind! Highly recommended!

This was our 1st time trying Fishhawk Bagels and this place was packed with a line at least 6 deep! The staff is awesome. They were getting orders knocked out quickly and efficiently. I ordered the Italian Bagel Sandwich and my boyfriend got the bacon egg and cheese bagel. I also got a guava cheese donut to try later! All in all the food was excellent, will definitely be back!

As a New Yorker, I’d say this place is worth giving a try. The biggest down side is if there’s a long drive thru line, it’ll take you over half an hour to get your order.
The bagels are a solid 3/5 in my opinion, probably the best in the area. The bagels were soft inside and crispy outside. I’d change my rating above to a 4/5 if they can fix the wait time for people who order in.

I am happy this place is a bit of a drive for me as I’d be eating here every morning, I love the mango smoothie and everything bagel some days my bagel is barely toasted others it’s slightly more just like when I make them at home, mine have never been burnt though. The last couple visits the line has moved really fast. PSA: the chive cream cheese has big chunks, taste great but im like a small child and my onions minced.

The bagels are always delicious however when we ask for a Buttered bagel we expect the bagel to be covered in butter, no dry spots We shouldn’t have to pay .75 c for extra butter! I went up to the counter and asked for a side cup of butter and the owner was so rude! So… stop cheapng out on butter!
