Experienced this gem one evening for dinner with a number of colleagues after a long day’s work. Recommended by a local, we were able to enjoy the warmth of the restaurant decor, extremely friendly staff and huge portions for a very fair price. I enjoyed the Chicken Napolitano with Mashed Potatoes and a salad. Their side salads that accompanied the entrees are HUGE and fresh. Generous amount of chicken, mushrooms and red peppers. Very good overall although I would have liked a little more garlic flavor. Don’t forget the desserts – their cakes are enormous (slices have to be every bit of 8 inches tall) and fantastic. I had the carrot cake – moist with a sweet icing. Plenty of parking, no wait and easy to hold a conversation.

I was very excited about trying this diner after reading all the rave reviews but our experience was just ok. The welcome at the door was great but unfortunately our server was inattentive and absent after delivering the food. We found the roast beef club to be extremely dry and it was served with cold French fries. The skillet was ok. The French toast was excellent. We didn’t get the drink we ordered – although we were asked if we wanted it replaced with the correct one. They were extremely busy and maybe that had something to do with it. But our experience today did not leave me wanting to go back.

My Pittsburgh friends invited me to brunch. This restaurant is a gem. The server was fantastic. The food was large proportions and delicious. The atmosphere was wonderful. I never even had to ask for a refill on my tea. I can not wait to bring my husband here

Wow this is a hidden gem! It was recommended by a local and I am thrilled we went. Go

I think everything on the menu looked great as they brought food out to other tables.

I enjoyed soup and salad to start. Followed by a fantastic spanakopita.

The main meal was scallops in a tortilla bowl. Yum!

I passed on dessert, but they had an amazing selection of cakes to choose from.

We have had some nice meals here, but unfortunately probably won’t go back anymore. The place is always busy and the tables are really packed in there so the atmosphere is loud and the servers are really busy. The food comes out quickly, but the quality is hit or miss. The bar and desserts are great, but for yhe first time in my entire life I threw away a Reuben sandwich. I asked and was told they use seedless rye or something, but what they gave me was Texas toast utterly soaked in butter. The meat is nice, bit there eas a ridiculous amount of kraut with the sauce on the side. The whole thing was a mess. The French onion soup is just ok. The prices have also gone up a lot, and getting in and out of the parking lot is starting to be a deathwish.

Good food, friendly and caring staff, and worth the wait. We were here in town for a hockey tournament and the first time we went here the whole team had dinner and they accommodated all of us and were absolutely amazing with getting all our orders quick, accurate and served fast. The staff was definitely on their A game and they received 2 rounds of applause from us. My family liked the food so much that we had breakfast their the next day and even thou we had to wait a little bit for a table it is definitely worth it because the food is worth the wait. We were seated in the patio and the sun was beaming on me so the waitress made a curtain out of a bag for me so I wouldn’t have the sun shining in my eyes. Again the staff is amazing and so is the food. Definitely a must try if you are in the area.

This is really a comfortable, welcoming, and delicious place to eat. We were there for the first time this evening and were welcomed by one of the managers and bartender, Marybeth. During a short 10 minute wait on a busy Saturday night she made an an excellent vodka gimlet which she filled to the bottom of the shaker, complete with colorful sparkling ice cube! Our waiter was friendly, attentive, efficient and knew his stuff! My husband had a full turkey dinner, even though it was nowhere near Thanksgiving and I had chicken Athena. Both were excellent. By the end of dinner one of the other managers, Yanni, came over and engaged in a truly nice conversation. They state that they pride themselves on making you feel like family in the introductory remarks of their website and menu. They absolutely follow through on that promise. They have comfortable booths and tables. The atmosphere is more upscale than the word “diner“ might convey, but it is also not overly done nor expensive. Even on a completely filled night, the din of conversation was happy and not at all distracting. It was quite pleasant. We will definitely be there again and again. We hope you will be too because you will have a very comfortable, lovely and delicious evening and some great drinks if you so desire!

First time here after multiple recommendations. Thus place is the real deal when it comes to good quality excellent food. We got the Stuffed Cabbage special and the Greek Lasagna. The Salad was great with the house dressing, which is a mediterranian flavor blast. And the Lemon Chicken soup with rice was phenomenal. Fresh locally made bread with no preservatives just add to the deliciousness here. For dessert we went with the Rice Pudding, home made and authentic.

This is a great spot! The parking might be a little tricky to get into and it does get very busy but it’s because it’s an amazing place.
The service is always super friendly. The food is so homemade, comforting and tasty! Mainly the portions are huge and the prices are so fair. You will absolutely take home leftovers and be glad to have them.
They also sell cakes that are so delicious. I have tried a chocolate mousse and the carrot cake and both were just so wonderful. Can’t recommend this place enough!
You pay up front at the counter at the end of your meal and the bathrooms are on the far right of the building.
