The food wasn’t great and the fish wasn’t fresh. The flavors was off on everything. It looked pretty but my stomach hurt after eating. The service was nice and everyone was friendly. This was the worst sushi I’ve ever had.

Fun and tasty twist to sushi! The food is amazing! I was visiting for work and made a visit twice, once in the restaurant and once to go. The location is a little hard to find through the casino but it’s well worth the search! The service is the best!! I had the spicy tuna and a pork dumpling. They dumplings are big enough to be a meal!

Place just opened after Covid and WoW. It looks very nice inside. Service was excellent from the moment we walked in to when we departed. They had nice modern upbeat music playing in the background. All the staff were attentive, friendly, and courteous. Everything we ordered was excellent, you could taste the quality and each dish was a work of art to view and explore the rich flavors. We had an amazing dinner here and will definitely be back soon.

Hotter than the entire casino, soda was out of date, and the food was horrible. It tasted like cat food smelled. Our waitress was all over the place, and the food took ages despite us being the only 4 in the restaurant. Also, my fish was horribly deboned, it felt like eating splinters. The sushi chef took out a JBL Speaker and placed it directly next to the table, blaring Crazy Train at maximum volume for a good 20 minutes before the waitress made a comment on its noisiness. All in all, the place was muhch better before its closing during COVID. Do not recommend.

Enjoyed everything about this place. Food was good, service was good. They can make any sushi roll you care for, which was nice, as the menu itself is not too extensive. If you get the dumplings, they are very large. A meal in themselves. And very tasty. The bacon pineapple fried rice was really good and an interesting twist. Three thumbs up from me and the fam!

Very good food. They can do custom rolls, with all kinds of sauces they make in house. I had the spider roll and the spicy tuna roll, both were fantastic.

The staff was great. The proximity to the sushi bar even from most of the tables allows for communicating with the chefs themselves, although the servers were very knowledgeable about the menu and special items.

All in all, fantastic experience and i highly recommend coming to this restaurant.

I was expecting exactly what you would expect from a sushi spot in a hotel and casino in the heart of America, but was pleasantly surprised. The menu is limited, but the chef will make any staple roll. If you don’t want American food and you’re staying at the Grand, check it out!

(Side note that was really odd but funny; we ordered a side of Edamame and it came out in a bowl. No pods, just beans and a spoon for each of us…)

The food is deplorable. This is not sushi. Pork dumpling made from the same dumpling you’d use with chicken and dumplings. I highly recommend those in charge visit a sushi restaurant to better understand. A waste of 80 dollars. Service was good and friendly but the food was a waste of money. If you eat sushi on a regular basis…don’t do it.
