First time going here and it was a nice place to have lunch. It was definitely crowded for a small town cafe after a lunch rush. The bar was full of locals having nice conversations and enjoying the relaxing laid back atmosphere. There was only one waitress and even though the place had about 1/3 capacity I think it was a bit much for her to handle. Had an issue with my bill but didn’t see it until we got home and I got to look at our receipt but no one answers the phone in the automated answering service let me know that their messages were full. Maybe I’ll bring it up next time I go with the husband. The burgers were outstanding, absolutely on par with anything you might find in the city in an upscale joint. Fresh baked artisan bread that stood up to substantial meat patties with dang good sauce and crisp toppings. And the fries omg forget about it Pasta was great but the serving size was a little sad for the cost, I expected a full size entree and got a half sized salad dish. The Alfredo was wonderful and rich, the added ingredients were kinda skimpy, the pasta was perfectly done. Kind of disappointed in the parmesan chicken though the meat was fresh. I was expecting a traditional Italian style Parmesan chicken dipped in a red sauce and topped with a portion of melted Parmesan but what came was a tasty flat iron breast with some dry rub and Parmesan sear- which was good, just not what was expected. The kids menu was small and perfectly named, and the portions were right on target for a little one. Before you pay ask for a receipt and make sure you’re only paying for your own meal! Waitress was friendly, professionally dressed, and just overall a really nice girl but often forgot what’s she was doing for us (never came back with refills after taking empty cups, forgot to bring napkins that were asked for, premixed coffee rather than leaving room for cream and suggest like asked) and charged us for someone else’s food in addition to our own. Great family place to bring my mom to♥️. Absolutely loved that the bar shared space with the cafe, next time I go I’m taking husband so he can get himself a nice drink with his burger- and won’t be paying till we see that receipt.

I am here at least twice a week. The staff, servers, and bartenders are unmatched. The live music is always top notch. The owners make constant rounds to check on everyone and make sure their experience is the best possible. I have never had drinks at the bar so good in my life and the pizza is phenomenal! My kids love it too!

It’s been a while since I have last visited. I like the changes they made. We sat at the bar, and Bobby was our bartender. We told him what we like, and he suggested a couple of different cocktails that were amazing! We will definitely be back.

I only had a to go order and I was beyond swept away. The service was easy and friendly. The staff made you feel at home just waiting on a to-go box. I got the classic Cheeseburger basket and the Farmhouse pizza. My wife raved about the cheeseburger about how it was the best one around. I absolutely loved the pizza and will undoubtedly be having it again. My wife (who hates pizza) tried and was shocked by how delicious the pizza was. We will be back very soon.

The interior has been completely refreshed, and the new finish looks amazing. Modern, clean, and still cozy. It really elevates the whole experience while keeping the charm that makes The Loft feel like a local favorite.
The new owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming. You can tell they genuinely care about the place and the people who walk through the door. That personal touch goes a long way and makes the atmosphere even better than before.
While calzones are no longer on the menu, they’ve added paninis — and they are **awesome**. Perfectly pressed, flavorful, and absolutely worth ordering. The menu changes feel thoughtful and fresh, and it’s clear a lot of care has gone into making everything top-notch.
The Loft continues to be a standout spot in Whitewright, and it’s exciting to see it thriving with new energy and care behind it. If you haven’t stopped by since the change in ownership, it’s absolutely worth a visit — highly recommended!

This is a great place to go and eat when you’re hungry. The location is not accessible friendly for getting to it however it is accessible friendly inside. You can get to it accessible but the ramp is on the opposite end of the square and the steps are not very easily passable if you don’t use the ramp. Decent amount of parking minimal accessible spaces available though. The food is great but sometimes can depend on who’s cooking that day. Inside is awesome and the staff are super friendly and great service. Location is easily seen from the road and easily accessed from the road. Parking can be unavailable during rushes like dinner and lunch. Mainly during the dinner run. I would definitely recommend eating here and will definitely be back.
