I love the Birmingham location, so I was excited this was in GP. The food was just as good – I love it. However, the service was nowhere to compare – took us a while to get waters, order, and get our food.

Luxe is one of my favorite go-to spots in Grosse Pointe when you want something fun, reliable, and consistently good—whether it’s lunch, dinner, or happy hour.
My absolute go-to is the Brussels sprouts salad with salmon—it’s one of those dishes I order again and again because it never disappoints (and allows for plenty of leftovers). The sweet potato fries are always a must, and the burgers are solid, flavorful, and done right. The menu has a great balance where everyone at the table can find something they’re excited about.
Happy hour is another highlight, with nice specials that make it an easy spot to pop into after a long day. And in the summer months, the outdoor dining really shines—it’s relaxed and a great place to sit back and enjoy the neighborhood vibe.
All around, Luxe is a local staple for a reason. Easy to love, easy to recommend, and always a good choice.

I nice little bar and grill , cool atmosphere that’s very relaxed. The name kind of threw me a bit , based on the name I was expecting a really fancy bar, it’s was still nice.
Our waitress was very nice , attentive and speed of service was good. I ordered the luxe burger with fries and it was it was really good. I wish I had a warning about the size of the fries because we could have split an order of fries, they were definitely good, you can tell they are fresh made. My wife had the chicken club , she said it was just ok.

Cute place, great food, friendly staff. It sounds so basic, but the grilled cheese and tomato soup was out of this world!!! Hubby loved his mushroom burger and raved about the arugula potatoes (he only allowed me to have literally one piece).
The calamari and wings were just okay. The next time we go, we’ll definitely be trying some different starters.

We decided to try a ‘new to us’ place for a late lunch. The menu was pretty fantastic for a bar and grill. Nice assortment, beef, chicken, fish, and even a veggie burger. Our server was so pleasant and very willing to answer menu questions. She didn’t linger, checked on us periodically, spent the perfect amount of time with us. The atmosphere was pretty nice. Music wasn’t too loud, could see the televisions, I prefer a little more lighting but I feel like it gave off an upscale and retro vibe. The food was substantial and tasted pretty high quality. I had the mahi sandwich and a side of flash fried redskins. It was a fantastic sandwich and those redskins were delish! Guest 2 had a Luxe burger and it was tasty! The Luxe sauce was a garlicky sauce and it really added something special to the burger. A side of fries is enough for several people. The servings didn’t disappoint! Guest 3 had a chicken club with a fry mix (potato and sweet potato). The chicken club was big! Guest 4 had chicken tenders and onion rings. The onion rings were a little too greasy but that happens. The tenders were ok. A little pricey for the size/serving. The appetizers were fantastic! We tried the tenderloin tips (I would order med rare if we go back). They were delish, the horseradish sauce served with them was a perfect accompaniment. We tried the sweet Sriracha shrimp and the chef deconstructed the serving for us and it was fantastic! We could use as much or as little sauce as we liked. Lastly we tried the edamame. They were cooked perfectly.
I would recommend. I feel the service and quality of the food and choices made it well worth trying. I’d go back.

I came into your establishment Sunday, December 28th and was more than thrilled to visit you guys again…Especially after the holidays.. it was nice to not have to cook.
I have always had great experiences with you guys. That Sunday was unfortunately the opposite… the bartender “Graham” was the rudest and most un-inviting person ever. You guys were busy but the way he spoke to my wife and I was appalling. On top of that the drinks took too long and tasted even worse. When I asked for our bill (we decided to dine elsewhere) he seemed annoyed and agitated as if it were a problem and an issue for him to print a check. He was slamming things and even threw our check down at us after we waited 15 minutes just for the check. We have been here many times and don’t dine in on the bar when Jason works because we are used to the slamming and angst and choose not to be involved in that. We haven’t been served or attended to by Graham before but we won’t be coming back. Not only our experience but we happen to see some family friends when we came in and before we left we went to say goodbye to them and they mentioned that the bar was no longer serving any mixed drinks — even including a simple tito’s soda (my sister in laws favorite). A day that was supposed to be discounted drinks.
A bartender should be warm and welcoming. The face of the company, especially how your establishment is set up — they are the first face we as customers see. Graham made your company look bad, unprofessional, uncomfortable and quite — depressing. Hopefully you’ll change staff and make your customers excited to see who tends bar and the service they will receive. I personally know, as well as my friends and family, that we won’t be back until such has been changed.

What a delightful and delicious surprise. My wife and I were looking for a place to eat on July 3rd to find most places closed. We walked by Luxe twice before stepping in; honestly the name just seemed pretentious. The first thing I noticed was a server carrying a giant plate of French fries and a normal bar atmosphere, off to a good start. We ordered drinks and our Server Tomasina B. recommended the Nachos and Chicken of the day, which happened to be Chicken Monterey. Now normally Nachos are a ‘whatever’ appetizer for me, but these nachos are the best I’ve had in recent memory. The chicken was also hitting above its weight class for flavor and taste. Great recommendations.

It felt a little old hype at times, but it worked. Not too busy on a Thursday night with a quiet atmosphere where you could talk. We had a good service when they got to our table. We did wait a little, but for us, that helps to find what we wanted. We started with the mussels and clams. They were excellent. My wife had the Chicken special. The chicken was a little dry, but the mash potatoes more than made up for it. I had the salmon special with broccoli. It was excellent. Cooked and flavored to perfection. The salmon was also excellent.
