Had dinner with my spouse on a Friday evening for the first time. Was a very friendly and inviting space. Really cool steel cut out art piece on the wall. The building was an old brick walk up style building in an historic town. The garlic rolls are some of the best I have ever had. Such a bang for your buck. Huge portion and huge flavor. I can’t say enough of about Cash, Jayden, Carlos and the management Bryan. Very friendly and responsive service. Highly recommend.

As a Level 7 Google Local Guide with over 19 million photo views and ranked in the top 10% of restaurant reviewers on Google, I can say Italian Pie is absolutely worth the trip. I actually drove over an hour to revisit for a pie, and it was just as good the second time around.
The staff — Brayn, Carlos, and Jayden — are young but incredibly impressive. They’re polite, customer service oriented, quick thinkers, and keep things clean and tidy. These young people are running a tight ship, and it shows.
The dining room itself is on the smaller side, and because the place is frequently visited, you may need to wait for seating to open up. The tables are picnic-style, so you might sit near someone you don’t know — but it never feels uncomfortable, just part of the friendly atmosphere.
I ordered the large Rustica, which is essentially their meat lover’s pizza with Alfredo sauce. The pizza was amazing, but what really impressed me was the ground beef. Unlike the pellet-style meat you find at chain restaurants, Italian Pie uses finely ground beef that tastes fresh and homemade. They do have a few locations, but the food and service don’t feel like a chain at all — everything about this spot feels local, intentional, and personal.
Another big plus — they offer FREE carbonated water. That may seem like a small detail, but it’s rare in most restaurants, and to me it shows they value their customers.
The location is one of the best Buford has to offer, set right next to boutiques and other eateries. It’s a lively, busy area, but there’s plenty of parking along the street. I don’t drink, but for those who do, the wine selection here is plentiful and well displayed.
The restrooms were clean, though I did notice there’s no changing table in the men’s room — something I always look for as a family consideration.
Bottom line: Italian Pie delivers excellent pizza, strong customer service, free carbonated water, and a location that makes it a destination in Buford. Between the quality of the food and the effort of the staff, this is a 5-star experience all the way.

First visit was really great. Very pleasant and engaged service by Colby at the order counter. Very decent size salad and great wings. And for a change from many other nearby places, hot wings were actually hot and had more than enough extra sauce.

You can’t find better pizza in Buford. The manager Brian is so funny and has great recommendations. The staff were teenagers who were helpful and attentive. Cash and Jayden were so helpful and our food was out fast. We absolutely loooooove the garlic knots. They re heat perfectly so get the big order. We are regulars every week and I can’t think of a better place in downtown for a quick bite that doesn’t feel rushed.

This place is delicious! We had the honor of trying their new sausage and pepper sandwich. It’s the perfect blend of a Philly cheesesteak but with sausage! Flavor is phenomenal. We also had the meat lovers pizza and it was also 10/10. We will definitely be returning!

I have come here multiple times and love the food. I’ve had 2 horrible experiences here. Tonight I watched a table of 20 people get served appetizers and main courses fully while I waited 45-50 minutes for a to go plate of pasta. Loved the guy handing it to me not even saying a word besides “here”. Another time I arrived at 10:35 when this establishment closed at 11. I was rudely treated and so obviously rushed out the door even though I made it obvious, I would be getting it to go and leaving promptly. I get yall get busy but create some common courtesy in relation to customer service. Not just “I’m pissed it’s busy let get this over with”.

The food is amazing. Very delicious and very fresh. Definitely Italian homemade and fresh. Think is my favorite spot now. We had the seafood pasta and a calzone, talking about the calzone you get all the toppings you want and that’s cool. The seafood pasta it’s delicious definitely a great recommendation.
