First time in Boiling Springs. Kim was our server, we ordered the double stack with sausage. I felt like she could have told us that the pancakes were going to be huge if I would have known that I would have only ordered one. The pancakes were really thick so you had to soak them in the tasteless syrup. The sausage was really good and my daughter said the grits was too. The bathroom was really nasty, didn’t use it. It has a dead water bug on the floor and a lot of water like it was some type of leak.

I enjoyed lunch here recently. I appreciate the large menu with tons of choices. The service was quick and everyone was friendly/attentive. This is definitely a quaint, small-town diner – it’s great! My greens, black eyed peas, and fish were seasoned well. I look forward to coming back soon.

My husband and family and I were at the drag race at Shadyside yesterday and wanted to grab dinner before heading home. When I searched for family-friendly restaurants, the Snack Shop Family Restaurant popped up, so that’s where we decided to go. The service was great, and the food was delicious (and affordable!). This restaurant is definitely family-friendly with a casual atmosphere, a kid’s menu, high chairs, large tables, and access to restrooms. My two nephews enjoyed the quarter machines and getting stickers and candy. If we’re ever back in the area, we’ll be sure to return for another meal!

I got the country ham special and it was everything you should expect – delicious salt block!

Very calm and friendly restaurant. Staff was nice. Food was great. Visiting family from Florida and stopped by for breakfast one day. Really good and highly recommend.

Food is incredible. Without a doubt, timing of preparation was better than expected!. We were visiting from out of town at the local university and found them by mistake. Coming all the way from Atlanta I swear if they were closer, I would drive back just for lunch! I love the friendly family oriented environments/service. The magic that they have bottled definitely should be applauded! Absolute 5 stars, top-notch, definite recommend.

The chili has a sort of sweet flavor to it which is a bit unusual but very welcome. I’m thinking about my own experience, yours might be different I’m only speaking for myself.
Your typical greasy french fries your typical greasy chili cheese burgers and if it was not greasy I would not eat them!!!!
You of course already know the kind of greasy cheeseburgers I’m talking about, the kind of greasy chili cheeseburger when you bite into it it squirts all over the place, yes THAT kind.
I had chili cheeseburger french fries and sweet tea. If you are going to the college it is nearby within walking distance but be careful crossing the street. The staff seems very nice and it’s the usual kind of middle class crowd.
Sometimes when you’re in there there’s only one or two people and sometimes it’s absolutely crowded.
You will more than likely see someone from your area as people from surrounding counties also go to eat at it.
It’s a fairly clean place, not 100% immaculate yet it looks very nice
