We came here about two hours before they closed. They were busy and that is understandable. What is not understandable is why they discriminated against us for having a larger family. When you walk in, it says to go to the counter to request a table. I was literally standing there for 10 minutes, trying to get their attention, but they kept looking away from me. Then, two college age girls walked up to the counter, and they were immediately given a table. When I called that out, the employees seemed dodgy and avoidant and told me just to find a table.

The food was mid. The oatmeal was so watery it might as well have been soup. The server barely checked in on us.

I will chalk it up to being a bad day, but unfortunately, when you visit restaurants, you don’t have the luxury of always earning a second chance. Despite it being a local and well reviewed eatery, my family will most likely never set foot back here.

We split the seasonal omelet and French toast with blackberry sauce and shredded coconut. The French toast was surprisingly not too sweet; the natural sweetness of the berries was enough. The omelet had shrimp and asparagus, which I probably wouldn’t have ordered for breakfast, but it was prepared and presented well. Be sure to ask your server what the seasonal omelet will be! And get the “hot sauce” which is a lovely green salsa.

Since that was my first time here, I asked the waitress for recommendation, she suggested me trying their potato celery root pancake. It was nice, I like the pairing of smoked salmon with the sweetness of their apple sauce, dill is another star of this dish, if you like dill

Salmon Nicoiçe, and French toast were delicious and impressively elevated. The biscuits and gravy were equally well made. Every item on their menu is carefully put together; this place is a gem in Larkspur.

Food tasted pretty fresh. I ordered the chilaquiles, which was different than more general ones, but the red sauce was very tasty.

BLAT (bacon, lettuce, avocado, tomato) was good as well.

Amazing food. Didn’t know oatmeal could taste so good. It was delicious. The blackberry coconut French toast was even better. Not busy. Friendly and fast.

Wonderful, quaint little table service restaurant on the edge of downtown Larkspur. The friendly knowledgeable service was excellent as was the special of the morning; seafood Benedict. Our party of 4 enjoyed a wonderful Saturday brunch topped of with grapefruit mimosas.
We have recommended FHL to our family and friends. We can’t wait to visit again.

Great Farm to Table restaurant focused on breakfast. Ingredients were certainly fresh and both meals were delicious. I’d highly recommend the Huevos Rancheros – some of the best I’ve tasted. I liked the taste of the Biscuits and Gravy, but the gravy was more of a sauce than what I was expecting. Would absolutely visit again and delve deeper into the menu – omelette sounded great.

The brunch was great! The patio area was decent, and service was simply average- server didn’t come by to check on us but she was nice enough. Would go again for the quality of the food.

Always busy, so service can be spotty. Excellent atmosphere and parking, though wooden floors makes conversation challenging. Went for brunch with friends who were pleased. I had Homemade Biscuits with Chicken-Apple Sausage Gravy; Poached Eggs, Creamed Spinach; very disappointed in flavor, presentation, balance of wet/dry. We’d been before with good experiences but I wouldn’t recommend.
