Nice spot, workers seem happy to be there. Coffee tastes like caramel candies and apple cider is good too. Loud inside but thats what you get when you’re busy. Open much later than other coffee spots.

Pistachio is one of my favorite gelato flavors, and Nonno’s is particularly good! It’s rich, creamy, nutty, and sprinkled with crunchy pistachio pieces. 10/10

I also tried the tiramisu-flavored gelato, but it tasted mostly like rum. I couldn’t make out other ingredients that are usually in tiramisu like mascarpone. I think the concept could be better if chunks of espresso-soaked lady fingers were mixed in or if the top was dusted with cocoa powder. Yum 🙂

The staff was polite and attentive. I’d like to come back sometime to try other items here.

I have been a regular at Nonno’s for about 18 months now, and it has easily become a staple in my routine. While the location is convenient and the coffee is excellent, what truly sets this place apart is the atmosphere and the people.

It is a true “Mom and Pop” operation in the best sense. The shop is impeccably clean (including the restroom), and the vibe is perfect for hopping on the free WiFi to catch up on work, people-watching from the window, or just vegging out. I also really appreciate that they are open evenings; it is such a nice, relaxing break from the pub crawls and bar scene around town if you want a quieter night out.

But the real reason I keep coming back is the extreme friendliness of the staff. From the owners to the evening and weekend crew, everyone is welcoming. One of the baristas has been working on her latte art, and she has become so adept and fast that I often don’t even realize she’s done it until I sit down—it’s always a wonderful surprise.

It’s also my favorite midpoint stop when I’m taking my dogs on long walks in the cold. It’s the perfect spot to grab a hot beverage “hand warmer,” and the staff always has a smile for the pups. Skip the chains and come here.

Obviously, the atmosphere the aesthetics, the feel of the physical facility is great. The foods are OK. The coffee’s and teas are great. The service is less than hit and miss. It’s pretty predictably a mess. Absolutely bizarre training from the management level I’m guessing. You can’t have that many young people who are so unpleasant to be with without some kind of specific agenda. There’s always a nice one sprinkled in here there. But I go there pretty often for coffee and it’s definitely not predictable that I’ll have a nice friendly exchange. We were here last night with friends on a double date and one of our friends was literally compelled to say at the server are you angry at us? She proceeded to say no that’s just the way I am. Bizarre is a friendly way to speak of it. But I keep going back and buying the coffee anyway.

I was asking for recommendation at another local fb group for cupcakes as I was short on time to order for my son’s birthday.

Vincent the owner of Nonno’s commented and I’ve sent him a direct message. Since he gave me a certain time window to order, I called the shop and one of his staff was kind enough to reach out to him to let him know

He called! And to my surprise, even when he was on the road, he took my order

The next day I’ve picked up the cupcakes, he was at the store, gave me extra as it fits better in the container and went above and beyond to offer coffee, perfect on the day dreary day I went in.

Thanks to Vincent for taking above and beyond. The coffee was delicious and highly recommend for you to come and check this establishment even when it is close to, ahem, starducks

I would choose small business owners over anytime and support

Thank you again Vincent!

I don’t know why it’s taken so long to leave a review for Nonno’s. We’ve been going for years.

We love it here! Great coffee, great staff, great location. Mary and Vinny take their coffee seriously, and always greet us with a smile. They really get to know their customers, and if you sit inside you will hear them greet one customer after another by name.

Nonno’s is open later than most of the coffee houses in Doylestown, which is great if you’re like me and want to go out for coffee in the afternoon.

Everything in their case is delicious, but if you want something extra special, try the crumb cake, it’s the best!

Nonno’s Italian Coffee Parlor is the kind of place that makes you feel at home the moment you walk in. From the warm, inviting atmosphere to the rich aroma of freshly brewed espresso, every detail feels intentional and comforting.

What truly makes the experience special is the people — especially Katie. She serves with such kindness and a genuine smile every single morning. Her warmth and attentiveness set the tone for the whole day, and it’s clear she cares about every customer she greets. It’s a small thing that makes a big difference.

The espresso is strong and smooth, the pastries are authentically Italian (the cannoli is a must-try!), and the ambiance is cozy without feeling crowded. You can start your morning with a quiet coffee, meet a friend for a mid-afternoon catch-up, or just take a moment to slow down. You can tell there’s heart behind everything they do.

Highly recommend for anyone looking for more than just a caffeine fix — this is a true neighborhood gem. Thank you to Katie and the whole team for making each visit something to look forward to.

Sandra who left a review had the nerve to call into Jeff lewis live and attack a small business. She claimed the prices are too high but then made her review about the interior. Small businesses cannot price point their coffee like Dunkin donuts. They have to keep prices high to stay afloat. Small businesses are important to the community and her calling in on a national radio show to complain offended me as a barista of a small business in Maine for 8 years. We were not as cheap of Dunkin or Starbucks but we sourced and roasted our own coffee beans, and made relationship with the farmers. It’s kind of disgusting that a homely person like Sandra would call into Sirius xm and complain about the prices and interior, like who are you to think you should have a decision in their business. Next time I’m in the area I will be happy to visit.

The food was delicious–bagels, coffee, and especially the pastries. The amaretto latte and biscotti were fantastic.
Staff were friendly and quick with our order. It’s a great place for a snack!
