Pizza is a family affair for me. My Uncle Angelo arrived in America in the 1930s with a passion for pizza. He worked hard and eventually bought his own pizzeria in Brooklyn. It was there that Uncle Angelo invented a recipe for his delicious, homemade pizzas. That recipe has been perfected over 60 years and passed down through the generations.
My brothers and cousins in New York know the recipe. Diners at Patsy’s, Nick’s and Angelo’s have enjoyed their pizzas, pastas and salads for years.
I hope that you enjoy our classic style pizzas and pasta specialties for many years to come. Buon appetito.
Coal-fired pizzas, Italian eats & wine feature at this outpost of a local chain with a relaxed vibe.

First time here the other night and I loved the atmosphere of this place. Friendly staff, quick service, and great food! My personal favorite was the fried calamari, it was delicious. Really liked the dipping sauce a lot too. The rigatoni alla vodka was alright! Overall, I liked this restaurant and will definitely be returning.

As a part of Temple University’s Memorable Moments, we were taken to this restaurant. The old Italian look of the restaurant will take you back in time. Even though it might look like a small join but believe me it’s so spacious from inside and can accommodate more than 70-80 people at a time. Coming to food, it was amazing pre-decided menu from salads to desserts. To start with we were served Mista Salad and Cesar Salad which was so amazing!!! Then for entree we had bruschettas and risotto balls. Here risotto balls were so good, crispy outer cover with cheesy rice inside. Then comes the main course, rigatoni alla vodka, gemilli arugula pollo and spaghetti bolognese . And to finish it off we had Tiramisu and Cannoli. We simply loved Tiramisu ❤️. Great staff and amazing food!!! Definitely coming back for more .

Apparently two locations in Philly. Family and I dined at the Sout Street location. Cozy warm and artesian feel to the dining area. Friendly greeter and waiting staff. Wine, Beer and Mixed Drinks. I had the Pinot Noir (a generous pour) and the wife had a Mule serviced in a mason jar. Hot rolls served while you wait to order. The 14″ creat your own pizza BAKED IN A COAL OVEN…..that correct, a COAL FIRED pizza oven. The HOMEMADE MOZZARELLA was fabulous and gooey stringy. Tomato sauce perfectly seasoned. Pepperoni thickly cut. Awesome job Pietro Team…..whenever I’m back in Philly, I’ll most definitely stop in

If you love pizza, you are going to love THIS pizza. It is probably the best crust I’ve ever had. Prices are good for the portions. The biggest downside is that you will be paying for parking which can be $20+, so if you are coming to the area just for dinner, make sure you factor that in. Service was friendly and good, and the setting was also fun! If you are in town and feeling like pizza, this is a must.

Everything about this place is delightful! The ambiance of the place is nice, despite the required social distancing! All the wait staff were wearing masks AND face shields! The warm bread brought out at the beginning is crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. It’s served with a light oil and herbs mix. We had mussels in red sauce as an appetizer. The mussels were big but still tender. The sauce was divine! The mussels came with this light, fluffy, crispy flatbread that was unbelievably airy and crisp! So good! For our main course we ordered the Pietro Pizza, which is smoked mozarella, prosciutto, and arugula. The crust is thin and perfectly baked. You can taste the smokiness of the mozarella, and combines perfectly with the flavor is the prosciutto. The pizza was delicious, but we decided to wrap half of it up in favor of saving room for dessert. We ordered the tiramisu. The cream on top and in the layers tasted fresh and light, giving the perfect balance of light and sweet. We had the pleasure of washing down all this scrumptious food with a bottle of their Sangiovese red wine, which paired nicely with everything. We had a truly exceptional meal, and will definitely be returning!

Pietro’s offers pizza and other Italian food options in a spacious (although a bit noisy) locale. Everything we ordered was fantastic, ranging from calamari to salads to pizza to cocktails. The waitstaff was very attentive and the portions are very generous. A very good value and very, very good food. They also have a fairly extensive beer selection, including many local micro brewery options.

The calzones we’re not what’s like I was used to and the pepperoni did not seem to be as tasty as when it is on top of a pizza. But the atmosphere was nice the staff is great was a pleasant experience
