The best sushi I have ever had, the rolls are excellent and when you have it, you realize what fresh sushi actually is. The rolls are very generous with big pieces of fish. The service is excellent as well. Very nice atmosphere and extremely clean.
My only complaint would be while the lychee martini tasted good , I couldn’t believe our martinis were served with ice in them, as they should never have that.

Kotobuki Babylon speaks for itself. The food is always great. Everyone I know all agree that the spicy tuna avacado salad is the best ever. No one makes it like they do. Its sliced Tuna, sliced avacado, razor thin cucumber slices, asparagus, and spicy cream dressing. I say if you have a problem with this salad the problem is with you. Awesome. They are pretty fast there too. Seating can get tight on Friday and Sat night. I miss living so close to this spot!

Had a craving for sushi, so we decided to come here after our shopping trip. We ordered two sashimi lunch specials and one negamaki. The salad had too much water in it, soup was good, and sashimi were good-sized pieces. The beef negamaki came on a sizzling plate, which was a surprisingly steamy and tasted great. One of the best Japanese places we have ever been to. I don’t even know where to start. The oysters for starter were amazing! Sushi, sashimi, the salads .. everything super tasty! The staff was super friendly and we had a lot of green tea refills. The perfect experience was rounded up with fried icecream.
We enjoyed our family evening and will definitely come back! 100% recommendation

I’m a loyal regular at the Babylon location, so I’m honestly pissed and really disappointed writing this. My take-out order on 11/4/25 had a sharp piece of clear plastic inside one of the rolls. I almost swallowed it, stopped immediately, took photos, saved the plastic piece, and threw the rest of the food out because I was grossed out.
What made it worse: I reached out twice.
DM’d the restaurant on Instagram and submitted a message through the website with my name, order details, and photos. No response from anyone. No apology, no explanation, no refund. For a place I’ve supported for years, that silence is unacceptable.
This is a serious food safety issue and a customer-service failure. Mistakes can happen, but the way you handle them matters. Please take responsibility, review your prep/packaging process, and communicate with customers when something goes wrong.
I’ve recommended this spot to so many people, but after this experience I won’t be ordering again unless I know this has addressed.

High quality sushi with a large selection of rolls. Greet you with a warm towel and spicy noodle appetizer. Delicious entrees and generous portions, had the Pork Katsu which was crispy and delicious. Great experience.

Kotobuki is amazing!!! The pictures don’t do it justice but the food was truly 10/10! We started with the crispy rice & spicy tuna, then shared the Grinch signature roll, a Philadelphia roll, and a tuna steak. All was amazing, but tuna steak no doubt the best we’ll be back !

I hardly ever have a bad review but I promised I would speak up about this place because I raved about it and hadn’t been there in a long time. First, we we’re not happy that it took a really long time to be acknowledged for service. We sat there waiting and it wasn’t even busy. The food used to be amazing. It’s definitely not that good anymore. The pink lady roll was good, that’s about it. I ordered another roll, I sent back.. The tuna carpaccio was not good, I ate it because I was starving. The beef negamaki was ok. Even the salad dressing on the salad was terrible. I don’t recommend this restaurant and will never go back. I hope the one in Hauppauge is still awesome. It’s been awhile, I’ll give it a try. The highlight of the evening was the bakery a few doors down. Hope you have a sweet toothe because you’ll be hungry! Sorry
