Best sushi ever! What a gem in Tucson. The authenticity of this place is unreal. The vibes are great and I absolutely love the bar seating. Service is great and orders come out quick. The uni is so fresh and so sweet. The agedashi tofu was so crispy but so soft and silky on the inside. Also love the fried soft shell crab. Can’t wait to come back!

I’ve been coming to Ginza ever since we moved back to Arizona from the east coast about 4.5 years ago. Over the years, I’ve visited just about every sushi establishment in town. There are certainly a handful of great spots to choose from, but I feel Ginza offers the best quality and consistency of sushi above all others. Their nigiri is always the perfect size, texture, color, temperature, and of course, flavor. Unlike some of our second or third favorite spots in town, we’ve never been disappointed here at Ginza! Typically, we dine in as we thoroughly enjoy the impeccable and friendly service, however, this visit was for take out as we were celebrating a new mother’s ability to eat sushi again! So naturally, we knew we had to go with the best for her! Ginza certainly didn’t disappoint! We also really appreciated how meticulous they were with triple checking our order to ensure nothing was missing and everything was perfect before we left! The new mom was extremely happy with her dinner and we’d like to thank Ginza for helping to make that happen!

First time here, but it sure won’t be the last! Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and the service was outstanding. We ordered a Philadelphia Roll, the Mango Roll, the Heart Attack and the Baked Scallop Roll. I can honestly say we did not have one bad or mediocre thing. Favorite though? The Heart Attack. Drinks were equally as good. The Cherry Blossom & Typhoon are pictured here & were so good we had a second round! The chefs were amazing to watch in action & friendly. We will definitely return & spread the word!

Expensive for the quality and quantity. It was better than mediocre, and we paid over $90 for 5 smaller than average rolls and shrimp with noodles. For that expense, I would have expected some complimentary mizo soup or edamame. It was rated #1 on Yelp for sushi (the whole reason we went), and honestly I’ve been to better places in Tucson for sushi. There were lots of people there. It’s small inside, the bathrooms were cute with the rock displays on the floor, but out of soap. The atmosphere was nice, dimly lit but very loud and our waiter spoke quietly we couldn’t hear him. I don’t think it’d go back. Not anything special and overpriced. The specialty rolls… weren’t much better than the regular rainbow and dragon rolls. Not impressed, but it wasn’t bad. If I went again I’d try a sushi boat… but may not be anytime soon.

Was looking forward to our visit per previous reviews. They have a wide variety of sushi not found in Tucson, but flavors were nothing special. Rice used for nigri bland and retracted from fish. Definitely an assembly line feel…churn and burn. An “if I have to have sushi” place, but wouldn’t make a special trip.

The best sashimi we’ve had in Tucson! Get there early or make a reservation – it fills up fast. Don’t skip the yellowtail, toro and albacore.

This restaurant is a gem of Tucson. Super tasty sushi and other menu items prepared with fresh seafood and other ingredients. Service is amazing. Good drink options and nice sushi bar. Every month they have Facebook roll which is a month special on the menu. Heart Attack made from fried jalapeños with cream cheese is my favourite.

Overall experience was good. To start we got there and there was a wait for a table or immediate spot at sushi bar, so we opted for that. The people making the sushi were incredible and their timing was perfect. Honestly made the experience 10x better.
Roll quality was good. I would argue that it’s a little overpriced for what you get… and for that reason it won’t be our regular go to sushi spot. The order yourself on paper is fine, but the options vs available descriptions made it challenging for dietary ordering. The staff making the rolls were honest and confident about ingredients which was great. We got three Ginza specialty rolls, two basic rolls, and edamame.
It’s definitely somewhere to go with friends or have a more dark and intimate setting for date night.

This place is the best sushi I’d have ever experienced in my life. Everything they have are delicious. Authentic Japanese restaurant. If you ever visit this area you have to try it. You’ll never disappointed. I would recommend make a reservation they get really busy.

Great food, really loved the fried calamari and unagi!! A little different than anywhere we’ve eaten before (the ceviche roll is pretty tasty). If you end up here you have to check out the bathrooms!! Very unique decor.
