NORTH BAY VILLAGE, FL— It’s hard to believe that after serving the South Florida community for 35 years, Shuckers Waterfront Grill will close its doors on Sunday, October 27, 2024. It has been a favorite eatery for locals and worldwide visitors for years, and now we are sad to say ‘goodbye’.

The restaurant has one of the best waterfront views, and many come here to chill and watch the sunset with their favorite drink and snack. Others just come to catch up on their favorite team on one of their 30 screens.

Before you say goodbye forever, try their famous Prime Rib sandwich or the Special Grilled Wings and fish dip. Enjoy it with a drink from their fully stocked bar – it features handcrafted cocktails and an amazing selection of local beers.

Other dishes I recommend are the Tuna Tartare, Shrimp po’ Boy, and Grilled Mahi Sandwich. And if you are in the mood for dessert, try the guava cheesecake — absolutely fantastic!

just tried this place for the first time we were seated pretty quickly. The hostess brought over our menus then our server Mike was very friendly and took our orders in such a fast fashion which we appreciated giving we were in a hurry.
we tried the cheeseburgers, and it was delicious, the view so nice next to the water facing the bay village. Yachts pull up for lunch and really the view makes the place spectacular. Also a great spot to watch sports, they have a lot of TVs!
Definitely coming back.

So it’s a great atmosphere with awesome bartenders. It is one of the few places in Miami with live music. 3 times I have been here and the food has not disappointed. I am docking one star because the last night here, “the hood was broken”, so no hot food. This was a huge disappointment, being that I booked the hotel above for the simple fact that it has a great bar and grill below. However, I definitely recommend that if you are in the area and want a nice place with a great atmosphere for food and a few drinks! And if you book the Best Western above, book the king balcony bay view!

Sunday afternoon, brunch on the water. Unlimited mimosas for $25. The view was amazing, and it was just fun to watch the jet skis and boats on the water. You could even watch as people dock to come eat here.
We were in the neighborhood and wanted to eat on the water. Don’t be fooled that it’s on a Best Western hotel spot, this is a great spot for out of towners and locals alike.
Plenty of seating: bar seating, hi-tops, seating on the desk under umbrellas. I will definitely come back in the fall or winter… really is there such a thing in Miami?…okay I’ll be back in cooler weather. Definitely coming back!

But this was the first time that you now have to pay a docking fee… $1 per foot . So keep that in mind if coming by boat !
The place as great views,a good vibe and most of all great food . The dolphin fingers blackened , delicious!!
Service can sometimes be slow so relax and enjoy the view’s of the passing boats.

This is an awesome patio spot with white umbrellas, palm trees, covered bar area with nice outdoor view and sits on a doc with boat views. The food/drinks were tasty and atmosphere of beautiful Florida! Of course lets not forget dessert!!! Check out my awesome pics!

Great place on the water, vibrant atmosphere, tons of outdoor seating, big bar in the middle, loved it. Mahi mahi fish sandwich was great, especially fried. Dolphin fingers and fish tacos were really good as well. I can’t believe they’re tearing this place down to put up condos, shame.

Shuckers is one of the few waterfront restaurants that still has that true old Florida feel in Miami!
Beautiful bay views, especially around sunset in the early evening.
The tropical drinks are great! A little pricey, but you pay for the experience as well.

We spent a very enjoyable late afternoon/evening eating dinner and watching the sunset. Beautiful views!! We love this place and luckily live less than a mile away. Parking was easy and we were seated right away outside on the deck next to the water. Our server was Amos, who was very attentive and helped us with our selection of wines. He checked on us frequently to see if we needed anything else. We ordered Shrimp Linguine (delicious!) and a Churrasco Steak with Veggies, also delicious! Our wine selection was a bottle of Rose’. It was our luck that the bottles were half off the price last night. The band was great and had a good mix of songs. The lights, the sunset, the food and the views were fantastic! It wasn’t overly crowded so that was nice. We will be back again soon.

Enjoyed the experience and the fish dip was good. Felt like the alcoholic drinks were watered down (not strong enough), my order was mixed up and i got dolphin fingers instead of fried mahi. Burger was good and the fries were the best!
