Came here for a date night with my partner and we had such a great experience. Our reservation was at 5:30 PM, and it wasn’t too busy yet (it started getting packed around 6). The host was very kind and explained that they didn’t have any private seating areas, but he still tried his best to find us a good spot since we wanted to take pictures without using flash and disturbing others.

We ordered the chicken tandoori, which was a little salty in my opinion, but eating it with the onions balanced the flavor out really well. We also got the crispy potatoes, which were amazing. For our main dishes, we ordered garlic naan, butter chicken, and a side of white rice. The butter chicken was rich, flavorful, and super buttery. Surprisingly, my partner’s favorite dish was the white rice—he said it had so much flavor on its own.

We also tried two drinks: the mango lassi and a mint drink (I forgot the name), and we absolutely loved them. The mango lassi was especially delicious—honestly one of the best mango lassis we’ve ever had.

For dessert, we ordered the carrot pudding, which came with shredded carrots and vanilla ice cream on top. Everything we tried was so good and definitely did not disappoint.

The atmosphere was cozy and really nice, and the bar was huge with lots of wines and beautiful decorations. Since it’s Valentine’s season, they also has heart balloons floating around, which was super cute. At the end of the night, our server even gave us two balloons to take home.

The service was great overall—our server was friendly and checked in on us often. If you haven’t tried this place yet, you should definitely come check it out!

Kebab & Sharab never disappoints! It is hands down one of the best in the city for Indian food. We tried the lamb chops, chicken Kashmiri kebab, another lamb dish I can’t remember the name, and the waygu kebabs, bone marrow pulao, soya chaap, naan, their famous butter chicken, Kerala prawn curry and roomali roti everything was outstanding.

The lamb chops were tender and perfectly spiced, the Kashmiri kebab was packed with flavor, and the bone marrow pulao was rich and comforting. The butter chicken truly lives up to the hype, and the fresh naan and roomali roti were the perfect finishing touch.

The desserts were honestly the highlight, so unique and beautifully crafted. Their gulab jamun dessert was this perfect modern twist on a classic, warm and indulgent with just the right balance of sweetness. And the guava dessert was unbelievable: refreshing, fragrant, and layered with Indian flavors in a way that felt both nostalgic and completely new.

Amazing food, great vibe, and attentive service. Definitely a spot I’ll keep coming to.

Oh my god, where can I start — Kebab Aur Sharab is hands down one of the most memorable dining experiences I’ve had in NYC.

I came here with my friends and from the moment you walk in, the vibe pulls you in with warm lighting, stylish interiors, and an energy that feels upscale yet welcoming. It’s the kind of place where every detail feels intentional(even with the plating of the menu items!).

To start off it is vegetarian friendly and has amazing variety. The soya chaap to the paneer to gol gappe and to their vegetable kebab – everything was packed with amazing flavor.

I really loved the Dal Makhani and Paneer Butter Masala which went really well with the Garlic Butter Naan! We ordered 2 orders of the paneer and one order of the Dal which was more than enough for my friends and I!

I am a big fan of green chutney and I have to say the one here was top notch – it complemented everything!!!

What truly takes Kebab Aur Sharab to the next level, though, is the service. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the menu. They’re happy to make recommendations and make you feel taken care of without ever hovering.

Overall, Kebab Aur Sharab isn’t just a restaurant — it’s an experience. Incredible food, amazing drinks, great vibes, and top-tier service all in one place. If you’re in NYC and don’t check this spot out, you’re seriously missing out. Will definitely be coming back soon!

If you want to go eat Indian food and feel happy about spending money at an Indian restaurant THIS IS NOT THE PLACE. The food is overpriced for the quantity. The flavors are okay. We ordered the dori kebab and it was $30+ for one small string of kebab. I thought Punjabi’s love to feed and give a good portion size.

The chicken curry your mother could cook better. The biriyani was also very ordinary but good sized mutton pieces.
I’ve had much better food at Baar Baar, GupShup, Utsav. I would not come here the second time.

Kebab and Sherab is clearly a hot spot! We visited on a weekend evening and the place was absolutely packed, but despite the crowd, the service was incredibly fast and efficient. It’s easy to see why they’re so popular.
The real star of the show, however, was the food. The golgappa was absolutely amazing—easily some of the best I’ve ever had. We were so impressed by the flavor of the pani (the spiced water) that we actually had to call for extra puri just to finish it off!
Highly recommend this place for great food and quick service, even during peak hours.

Came here with a group of friends. Mango lassi bussssssin. The drinks pretty good too. I loved the fish curry and dippin the garlic naan into it. Wow such a tantalizing experience. Service was amazing the server even put chili on my naan ! It’s like customization Love the vibe. Music was a bit hardcore for me but nonetheless added to the ambiance. The pancake thing for dessert hit the spot. I’m so full

Found this spot through inKind, and what a gem this place is. I was blown away by the food. I’ve eaten at plenty of Indian restaurants and this is up there contending for one of the best. I love the unique Indian takes they have on their cocktails. Paan Negroni was fire. Also got the mango chutney and although delicious felt a bit like the drink was too small and heavy on the ice. The menu and dishes are detail oriented. We didn’t order much, aloo chat for app, lamb chops and famous butter chicken and garlic & butter naan for entree, everything was absolutely delicious. So flavorful, the naan was so light and flaky, the lamb chops were packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. The butter chicken was so good I almost drank the gravy. For dessert got the chai cake which was amazing. Service was wonderful as well. I will definitely be returning!! Great experience

Almost perfect. Tandoori Chicken was exceptional and possibly a must do. As was the goat doori kebab. And the gol gappas. BUT the dish that they’d need to perfect for that famed Michelin star is likely to be the wagyu chapli.. and that needs a fair bit of work. Was dry even though it didn’t ’look it’ – possibly should have been way more chapli? (Aka flatter like a smash patty?) / if they get it right could be really worthwhile. For the mains the Dallas’s excellent but the butter chicken (which is super tough to get right) needed to be far less sweet and punchier and easy on the elaichi ‍♂️. Perhaps request that the butter chicken is made using the tandoori ?

One last bit that made me think of giving this a 4 star was the dessert – they said they couldn’t customise the kulfi faluda when asked if we could just get the kulfi!!

Lastly they need to overhaul the cocktails to be true to their name of Kebab aur Sharab – maybe a Monk Masala with Old Monk? Whisky Mamba Fashioned with some twist on a spice based old fashion?

Anyhoo other than the faluda annoyance was pretty good grub. And just for that worth it.

Kebab Aur Sharab has the best Indian food we’ve ever had! The food, atmosphere, and service were all absolutely top-tier. Our waiter, Andrew, was incredibly attentive and made the experience even better. You could really taste the spices, but they were perfectly balanced and never overwhelming. The complexity of the flavors was just crazy. Highly recommend!

probably the most stunning Indian restauraunt I’ve been to with sm peacock decor. unfortunately, food was such small portions especially appetizers for the price you pay. The drinks too i felt like were too expensive for what it was and left more to be wanted from it. The paneer dori kebab especially would not recommend. I liked the lasooni palak mushroom dish and dal makhani was also good but nothing spectacular. We also told them it was my mom’s birthday but they didn’t do any birthday thing for her but were doing it for other people there.
