This place never disappoints. Went for my wife’s birthday celebration and everything was wonderful. When you go, please make room for the margaritas, nuff said! My wife ordered the shrimp fajitas and they were the freshest I’ve ever eaten. I went for the chimichurri skirt steak and all I can say is whoa. The wife requested dinner here for every bday going forward and I agreed wholeheartedly. Excellent!!!

Wonderful Mexican food right near the Christmas tree at national harbor.
Great service, attentive staff.
Food is flavor full (although very salty). The guac is excellent, I recommend getting a double batch.
If you can sit near the windows, the view is exceptional.
And the drinks are good too

The rating is based on the beautiful location right on the harbor. The drinks are great, I highly recommend the margaritas by the pitcher, great flavors. Service was ok, great staff just not overly attentive. The food was ehh so so. I had the cheese enchiladas and well….the chips and dips were great! Go for the drinks and view !!!

Great food and atmosphere, had the steak fajitas, large bowl of steak , enough for two people, also had the queso , very good cuts of steak , well cooked, service for refills etc was a little slow but it was busy , great atmosphere, hope to be back soon, thank you.

We came back again this year with our Army-Navy football group and had another fun and delicious meal! Rosa’s table-side guacamole is worth the splurge!! Very well done! And the margarita pitcher goes quickly! Our server, Laura, was delightful! Helpful with the menu and very friendly. I lowered the rating on food because my carnitas tacos were a bit dry and the seafood enchilada was lacking a bit in flavor. Probably depends on the night and the dish. Overall, a great meal and memorable way to kick off our weekend!

A bit of a mixed experience. The chips and salsa were pretty standard, but the empanadas were absolutely the highlight and the best part of the whole meal! Unfortunately, the Chef’s Special was disappointing. The ribs were quite tough to chew, completely missing the soft, fall-off-the-bone texture I was hoping for. I’d definitely return for the appetizers, but the main course missed the mark this time.

Food was good but some of it was a little over priced for what it is. Once we got our food, we didn’t see our waiter until we were done and had to call him over for boxes. It can be a little loud in there but it’s still a nice place with good views. I recommend having your menu cleaned though (see picture of old food dried on menu)

How anyone could give this place more than three stars is absolutely beyond me. Yes, the location at National Harbor is so chic, fancy, and beautiful. I’ll give it that. But this place is just mediocre food at criminal prices.
Let’s start… The steak taco was basically like eating beef jerky in a tortilla… Had better, fresher and larger tacos at Taco Bell for 1/8 the price. The Queso was okay but the table salsa tasted like tomato sauce for pasta. Oh and the kids ice cream was an ice cream cup from like elementary school… And the kids meal is $17+ each.
Talking about $17 each the margarita La Tradicional with Lime was $17 in a tiny cup with mostly ice that after three small sips was gone. At which point the server immediately returned and asked if I wanted another. If margarita shots are a thing, that’s basically what they’re serving for nearly $20 apiece..
I don’t consider myself to be a Mexican or Tex-Mex prude by any stretch, but including tip paying about $180 for two adults and two young kids for what I could easily get at any Tex-Mex or Mexican restaurant for a third of the price with much better food is just wild.
On a positive note, the atmosphere is good though and the server was nice… But, whoever runs this place best hope Gordon Ramsay doesn’t come by for a quick bite. Good Lord…

3rd time coming to this place not by choice. Hostess unwelcoming, server never introduced himself very weird energy…. No suggestions or chef specials or favorites unpleasant experience. Food was very basic an overpriced. The food didn’t taste authentic …..atmosphere an view is what you paying here not a recommendation if you want high end an quality
