This was some of the best fried catfish and fries that I have ever had. I also tasted the fried tilapia and chicken as well and was very pleased. The service was great. They are very friendly and help first timers make the right selection. Their desserts are also amazing. All of them! We will definitely be back to get some more food here. I also heard that their burger and gyros are great as well.

Don’t go to the one on LaFountain street this lady (Taregh Zemour) charged me $3.75 for adding mild sauce to my sandwich and my receipt says single chicken $2.50 I asked her whats that cause I didn’t order chicken she said that’s an add on for cheese $31.27 for 2 Italian beef’s with cheese lunch specials. Just crazy!!

Skip the fries! Pizza puff was cooked a little too hard for my liking but if you like it crispy, do you.

Update: I’ve been here 5 times now and it’s the same scenario every time. I order, sit down, and the food comes out in a few minutes. It’s HOT, fresh, and always delicious! Other restaurants need to take note because they do it right here.

Went for lunch with a co-worker, had to take the wife that weekend. I had the 5 piece chicken leg/thigh, and it was amazing. The Italian beef was great with the au jus being the star. I got a Philly the second time, and it was also very good. I used to eat there when it was El Arriero’s, and the ambiance is very similar, as in not updated, but the food speaks for itself.

For those who love giro (pronounced yee-row) sandwiches this place is awsome. And you can order extra cucumber sauce. Tastee! They have all kinds of fried fish, Ocean perch, tilapia, whiting, catfish, jumbo shrimp and oysters. Also they have various chicken dinners to chose from. My favorite is the chicago style chicken wings. They are like Buffalo wings but even tastier. They sell various cakes by the slice along with cookies . Their Italian sandwiches are good too. The counter lady was very considerate and helpful when I wasn’t sure what I wanted at first. A very down to earth place to eat with good tasting food.
