We stopped in at Calhoun’s for dinner. The restaurant is beautiful and we great view of the mountains from our table ~ could even see the Gatlinburg Skybridge from our seat so that was cool!
The food was just okay for us. I had the BBQ ribs with fries. The ribs were tender with a good flavor, but the fries came out cold. My husband had their chili and a large chicken & bacon salad, and he said both were pretty good.
Service was fine but a bit on the slow side. We waited longer than expected for the check and for them to run our payment, but our server did check in and offer drink refills, so it wasn’t a bad experience—just not great.
Overall, decent meal with a nice view at a good price.

One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been. Beautifully decorated inside, very polite
very nice atmosphere and the food was not expensive and really good. Erika was our server, she was AWESOME, extremely professional, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, she has what it takes to be a manager, she is truly a jewel. We visited on December 31 and despite the line we weren’t treated with rush like in other occasions in other places, We really enjoyed our new year’s eve dinner here, we couldn’t choose a better place We will be returning every time we visit Gatlinburg. Love ❤️❤️

We were in town on the busiest weekend of the year in October. We couldn’t get a table on Saturday, but we got one on Sunday. I had a cup of white chicken chili and a full rack of ribs. My husband had a Caesar salad and the pork chop dinner. The ribs were “fall off the bone” delicious & the white chicken chile was really good. My husband said the pork chops were the best he’s ever had. They were marinated & juicy. I had a blueberry coconut mojito and I loved it. Jonathan S. was our server, he was very personable and prompt. He told us a lot about the area. His recommendations for the ribs and chops were spot on. Thanks, Jonathan. You can’t go wrong with Calhouns!

Stopped in for some food and it was very good. Started off with the pulled pork nachos, it’s very good and the sauce was tasty with the heat of fresh jalapeños. I had the Ale steak with loaded potato but the white cheese they used to me didn’t go well, as the cheddar would. My step son had BBQ steak calhoun, which looked good. The other was a Hickory burger and char-grilled wild Alaska salmon. Those 2 items I didn’t get photos. The food was great definitely recommend.

Great restaurant with lots of variety! We tried the Apple Chutney Porkchops tonight on the Specials Menu. Was very good. Prices are very reasonable as well. They bring a bread basket with different rolls/muffins. Nice atmosphere with a large Fireplace in the middle. Has a parking lot behind with free parking!

Food and service were amazing I had the ribs which I’ve read about so many times on reviews. You won’t be disappointed, were amazing / smokey taste and fell right off the bone. The wife, had a turkey platter which she enjoyed. Service was amazing! Will come back on our next visit.

Our children required a meal, so we opted for Calhoun’s, as one expressed a desire for wings. The smoky barbecue sauce was exceptional, offering a delightful blend of smoky and sweet notes, which quickly became our preferred choice. We also customized the nachos to be meat-free, and they were outstanding.

I went to this place on the second day I was in Gatlinburg. The service was great. The wait time wasn’t that long. The food was sooooo good i got the ribs they were really good it’s hard to find good ribs. The rolls they bring you while u wait for your food are really good to its a combo of a bunch of different breads. My friend got brisket and it was so tender and delicious I want to go back but there is no Calhouns in Ohio haha. I would strongly suggest trying this place if you want some good BBQ food.

Great place for lunch. We stopped on our way through and were delighted. The ribs were falling off the bone and the trout was very delicious. The tomatoes were very good as well. We came on a Friday afternoon and woke the town was busy, the restaurant was not. We got right on and seated and the food came out shortly after ordering it. I highly recommend this place is you’re looking for some good food.
